Up to date: Yes
Legit or Pirate copy: Legit
Purchased where - Steam/Rockstar Launcher/Epic: Rockstar Launcher
Windows version: Latest version of windows 10
Did you try to delete caches.xml (not cache/!) and try again? Yes, it did not help
System specifications: GTX 1060, i5 6400, 16gb RAM, game is installed on SSD M.2 (I’ve played FiveM for 500+ hours on this exact setup about a year ago with no problems
CitizenFX crash zip file (ā€˜Save information’ on a crash): CfxCrashDump_2021_04_09_12_33_39.zip (999.3 KB)
logs/CitizenFX_log files: I dont have any, i’ve reinstalled GTAV and FiveM four times.
.dmp files/report IDs: "Crash Signature: rage-device-file.dll+ 1EDD9 (screenshot attatched)

Which antivirus/firewall software are you using? Anti-Malwarebytes
Did you try to disable/uninstall your Anti-virus? Yes, firewall as well.

Important parts

What is the issue you’re having? I cannot launch Fivem (i can launch GTA online and story)

What are you trying to do? So i tried to install some mods for singleplayer a while ago, and thats when this problem started. I’ve reinstalled the game four times, also verifyed the files but nothing sorts the issue.

What have you tried already to fix the issue? Reinstalling FiveM and GTAV, didn’t help.

What did you do to get this issue? As stated, i tried to install mods (I was using openIV but i didnt use the ā€œmodsā€ folder the right way and i think i messed up some original files.) I thought a reinstall would fix the problem, but no.

What server did you get this issue on? None

Hi,

Instead of completely reinstall GTA V, which may actually leave some files, remove the affected rpf (x64a.rpf) and then verify GTA V. After wards, make sure you can join GTA Online.
