Did you try to disable/uninstall your Anti-virus?
Yes
Also add what you already tried so far.
I have tried deleting the ‘broken’ file and letting it re-download itself. I also tried validating the GTA V files. And re downloaded the entire application data.

Error 127 = could not be found aka something deleted the file aka your antivirus

I would like to say that is the problem, however I only use windows defender and I have tested this with defender disabled to no avail.

Then please delete caches.xml and start FiveM again to redownload it

I do not see ‘caches.xml’ However I do find a cache.dat file.

It’s in FiveM Application Data. If it’s not there then your antivirus also delete that file

Ok I literally do not have antivirus (yes that’s bad) but other than Windows Defender which I disabled I do not have anything that may cause it…

There’s a lot of files that likely don’t belong in your V directory.

Which directory sorry? And still any idea on what to do?

He meant your GTA V folder.

As for missing FiveM files, if the installation gives no errors then it’s most likely another application deleting the files after installation.

Well, im running a fully functioning almost fresh install of windows 10 pro updated to latest. I have nothing that would be deleting files randomly…

Just like to update you, I tried this morning and it randomly started to work again… I’m not sure about whoa happened other than me restarting my computer, could’ve been a little glitch with windows defender not updating? Im not sure… However all is running normally. Thanks for the support! And Merry Christmas!
