Did you try to disable/uninstall your Anti-virus?

Also add what you already tried so far.

i have no idea about the rest sorry

Do what the message says and put the path of your GTA5 directory in side of it.

i don’t know where it is though

i installed it off rockstar games so any tutorials on youtube are no use because they all use steam

Its Fivem you got to do it with, you find the citizen.ini in your FiveM directory and put the path to your GTA5 directory into it.

i don’t know how to do that?

go into your FiveM directory, locate citizen.ini edit it with notepad and put the path of your GTA5 install in there.

This is why you fill out the WHOLE support template.

you’re not understanding i have no idea where any of that stuff is

you dont know where you installed GTA5 or FiveM?

do you have discord?

im at work so i cant use discord right now, but if you dont know where you installed FiveM or GTA5 its gunna be hard to offer assistance.

i know where my gta files are but i cant find the fivem files when i type fivem in the search bar

it only comes up with the fivem application and fivem singleplayer shortcut

yes… open FiveM Application everything should be within there.

oh i see… ok right click on FiveM and go to properties, it will tell you the location of the file.

when i try opening the bottom one it comes up with this

then what do i change the location to?

you dont change it, that will tell you were it is… you would go to where ever it is which looks to be on your D:\ drive and open the FiveM.Application Data folder i think its called.

is that it?
