This issue does not allow FiveM to operate. How has this problem not been addressed? Apparently you guys offer good support, but I’ve seen several threads on this issue with no official response. There’s one person who suggested deleting some files but it doesn’t seem correct, as I don’t even have one of the files (assumeing because I never got FiveM to run after initial install).

To be clear, I run FiveM and get the SC splash screen, then the FiveM splash screen, then the 403 error.

If someone here has any competence, please support your software.

I don’t get how this has not been officially addressed either. It’s been close to a week without any support.

These line would lead me to believe either it creates a bad token, or firewall issues on the entitlement service server.

The other post mentioned deleting the ros_id.txt (i think it was a txt file, not positive) in the user/appdata/citizenfx folder. I don’t have any citizenfx folder, but I checked in the user/appdata/fivem folder and no such file is in that path. I have received this error every time I run FiveM since I installed it (never have used it before on this PC, ever), so maybe I that folder and file hasn’t been created for me since this is my first install/run of the game. Is the ros_id.txt related to the user’s Rocksar ID for creating a token? I can’t code so I might be way off, but just throwing it out there.

I found this off of another post but go into your %appdata% folders and delete %localappdata%\digitalentitlements and %appdata%\citizenfx\ros_id.dat.(if u cant find citizenfx look under roaming)
if it works and you load up, blue screen might take a while(It did for me) but it ended up working hope it works for u guys

Thank you, Matt. Deleting the whole digitalentitlements folder, as well as the ros_id.dat file did resolve this issue for me.

I didn’t update this post to specify my attempt to delete those items, but I did discuss it in the discord support chat and cannot believe that nobody in there was aware that ros_id.dat could be in ROAMING instead of the Local directory. The most frustrating thing is that I have not seen a single person from the FiveM team even acknowledge this issue, not a single response when it’s mentioned. It’s as if any utterance of a 403 error is invisible to them, yet I’ve seen every other problem get a response. I’m just dumbfounded by it, especially since it’s such a simple fix.
