What is the issue you’re having?

My PS5 controllers input doesn’t register when I open the game (rdr2). I’m playing on my PC through steam. The only registered inputs are ps+R1 which edits the volume on my pc for some reason, and ps+R2 which sometimes takes a screenshot. I haven’t opened the game any further than the start screen, since I can’t get past it due to the controller not working.

What have you tried already to fix the issue?

Launching the game through big-screen mode doesn’t help either, and a message pops up before opening the game, saying that it doesn’t support controllers, which is false? I can’t find any way to turn off mouse/keyboard input in the game settings, even though I can find the settings/keybinds for controllers. I tried opening the game through the Rockstar launcher as well, but the controller only registers in the launcher itself, and stops working when entering the games homescreen.

I’ve tried restarting both my computer and the controller, and reloading the game countless of times, but to no avail.
