Important parts

What is the issue you’re having? Consistent “Server → Client connection timed out.” errors and server drops due to this on my gaming PC. My gaming laptop does not have this issue in the same household and same network connection.

What are you trying to do? Stay connected to the servers I staff or help develop for, as I cannot reliably stay connected for more than 10 minutes.

What have you tried already to fix the issue?

  • Clearing FiveM Cache
  • Reinstalling FiveM
  • Updating all GPU Drivers
  • DDU to uninstall then reinstalling all GPU drivers clean
  • Reinstalling GTA
  • Deleting then manually updating my networking adapter drivers
  • Different servers using different frameworks
  • Using different Wi-Fi Signals
  • Changing the priority of FiveM while running (actually caused it to crash faster…)
  • Using my gaming laptop instead of my gaming PC (gaming laptop does not have this issue)

I’m sure I’m forgetting a few things as well…

Error screenshot (if any):

What did you do to get this issue? I have to be in a server for anywhere from 3-30 minutes - timeframe is random as is the action in the server

What server did you get this issue on? Be specific and name some, ‘all of them’ by itself isn’t useful!
My personal test server, The Hangout RP FivePD, TSDOJ, and others

I’m not sure what other info to give, but am more than willing to provide anything else asked for.

Thanks in advance!

Two things, use TCPOptimizer (RTFM on the options, there’s a bunch of stuff that may help you there), and share what exact motherboard model and BIOS version you have.
Also, do see if the disconnects occur in any other game at all, or it’s somehow exclusive to FiveM.
