Important parts

I am having a weird issue with my FiveM since a little bit of time…
Basically what is happening is a really bad connection to certain servers (mostly to the ones I want to play on of course). The servers range from Texas, NA West to NA East - they do not share any similarities except being in America - myself is located in Germany but as stated above it is only since a little bit of time and I am going nuts finding this issue. It basically displays already in downloading the assets when joining a server for the first time - it downloads horribly slow like 14mb takes easily 1-2 minutes. Same stuff happens then ingame - VoIP lags and is distorted, MLOs download really slow or my Console gets spammed with errors. I will attach some screenshots/footage of two servers I have had issues down below.

I have a really good internet connection in general (downloading between 80-125mb/s on steam depending on how my WiFi-Connection is at the moment).

There is one special thing though:
When connecting via VPN I have a normal downloadspeed for FiveM, MLOs are loading etc. but VoIP is still laggy/distorted.

What I have tried:

  • flushing winsock/dns
  • reinstalling FiveM (manually clearing, uninstalling EVERYTHING)
  • reinstalling GTA V
  • reinstalling Computer
  • Deactivating Firewall/Windows Defender (tried it right before reinstalling Computer, don’t shame me please)
  • wired connection instead of WiFi
  • Resetting router

I am currently at following ISP: Deutsches Glasfaser (fiberglass connection)
I heard that we don’t really have an ipv4 adress, rather something that is shared with the whole street but def an own ipv6 adress (dont know much about that stuff)

maybe some of yall have any crazy ideas that could fix that as it makes my experience playing a living nightmare;

Contact your Internet Service Provider, chances are they’re throttling your connection or some routing is messed up somewhere - only they can look into these things for you, you’ve done just about everything you could from your side.

I see where you are coming from, but it is servers across the board, one is on East Coast, one on West Coast and one in Texas, Dallas - all other servers which are around those areas or also from Dallas work just fine so that kinda aliminates it for me?

That just means either your ISP is throttling your connection to US for some weird reason, or your ISP has bad routing to US servers that’s too slow for you to play - either way you need to contact them for assistance.
Oh, and make sure you’re on a wire, not a wireless connection.
