Connection Interrupted Every Few Seconds (Connection Interrupted, Re-connecting to Server Soon)
Basically ever since I have gotten FiveM, I can’t play on any of the servers without getting a "connection interrupted’ every few seconds, which causes my game to completely desync making it esentially unplayable and frustrating. I have really good internet, can play any other game flawlessly (Fortnite = constant 10-20 ping, Krunker = constant = 12-14 ping). The only way I have been able to solve this temporarily is by using my phones mobile data and hotspotting my computer which allows me to play perfectly - Except I don’t have an unlimited ammount. This essentially helping to pin-point the issue to some extent. Please if you have any advice or anything please let me know I absolutely love playing FiveM and it seriously sucks to not be able to play.

Can you try to calculate your internet connection’s MTU to see if it’s really low, or, say, execute net_maxMtu 1200 in the F8 console before connecting to a server?
Ok, so I just tried some of these servers and after connecting to ‘145.239.150.71:30122’ I didn’t get the connection error and could play fine - I didn’t have any connection troubles and it was even a Europe server meant I had 350 ping. I then scrolled down the list and found the original server (139.99.209.222:30120) I started playing FiveM on which I got the error on previously but today I didn’t at all. Then I found my usual server, 139.99.148.140:30120 I still got the error. To ensure it wasn’t just this server I then tried 103.212.227.50:30120 and I got the error again. If you can find a reasoning for it just being these servers effecting me I would be so thankful!
I unfortunately already tried the net_maxMtu 1200 route, it does nothing for me. As for my MTU I will calculate that tomorrow, I tried tonight but I struggled to get it working properly. Although I have run a test previoulsy where I pinged the server ip on which I like to play on (and get the error). During the test I consantly had a flawless 20-24 ping.
Here are the resources of the servers I have had the issue on, I see a bunch of esx based resources but nothing called vrp - try haing a look yourself:
It’s probably to do with ESX, though I couldn’t tell you for sure. I do believe there are issues with ESX and Steam Auth. Though this isn’t an issue with FiveM itself. I would speak to the server owner or dev and let them know of this issue you’re having. Until then, playing on the pinned servers is always fun! They are unique and different than most regular RP server.
Ok, so I just did some more testing and I tried some other servers and it turns out even servers that dont have esx such as 192.223.24.135:30120 are still giving me the error.
In terms of steam authentication potentially being the issue how could I fix this? And why would something like this only effect my home internet because remember I can play just with my mobile data.
I just re-tested 139.99.209.222:30120, the original server I started playing on which I mentioned earlier and am getting the error now. Note that last night when I tried and didn’t get the error nobody else was on the server. (If that means anything)
I also re-tested 145.239.150.71:30122, the Europe server and am still getting the error.
