Private message for bubble - Removed due to me not wanting it public.
Can you seriously stop this, at least for the time being? You have already been told twice to stop being annoying by bringing this up, and here I am, getting an unsolicited DM yet again⌠with the exact same stance and you not even trying to reconcile. This tripped a few red flags including recalling past awkward behavior from you personally.
For one, the âissuesâ section is not a âbugsâ section, itâs a âwork itemsâ section but GitHub doesnât allow renaming it. The âbugs sectionâ is on the forums, but thatâs for platform bugs and this insignificant game behavior youâre requesting to see changed is a feature request, not a bug.
Secondly, youâre panicking way too much about this âmajor bugâ. This probably wouldâve been present for years, and it is nothing extremely urgent whatsoever, unlike e.g. a remote code execution or denial or service vulnerability.
For transparency, Iâm making this DM public (and closing it so that there wonât be any community feud in here trying to defend either side). If you wish to respond to it, please say you wish to do so at a later time and I might be able to reopen the topic or have another conversation elsewhere, just not now.
I also apologize for any confusion and my initial harsh response, though itâd be a lot easier if people would at least think about the responses their actions may get, for example by looking at other pull requests or closed GitHub work itemsâŚ

The GitHub responses by themselves would paint an incomplete picture without this thread involved.
Similarly, a public response would be more calm than continued escalation in private.
⌠however Iâm not able to deal with this - both the technical side as well as the human-interaction side - at the current time, and any actual staff members arenât really around either. Closing it for the time being.
An update, I saw @Disquse sent this on Discord earlier today:
Just tested this bug in GTA Online. It also happens. So R* bug indeed.
⌠making this a feature request for Platform Suggestions at best.
OP request

Despite the fact that you havenât opened a feature request for this bug to be fixed, we prepared a proper fix for this bug anyway
Currently pending internal reviewing and testing. This was indeed a 7+ years old R* bug.
Wasnât aware I had to open a feature request hence why itâs titled âconfusedâ, assumed that was only for requested features not bugs which is why I reached out to find out where Iâm meant to post them. Now that this topic is open and made public without me knowing prior I assume itâs okay to respond to what bubble said too.

I apologize for this, first time I assumed you meant to create an issue instead of the pull request due to not being told where I was meant to report them and I dmâd you because I wasnât sure where to report it after you closed my issue. Not sure what past awkward behavior youâre referring to by the way.

This is what I dmâd you to find out, thank you.

Iâm not panicking at all, I also donât consider it a major bug I said itâs a major bug for server owners not the project, I donât have a server and me and Aurum talked about this a few months ago and he asked me to report it but I forgot about it and started this when I remembered and I understand you have more urgent matters which is why I said the community could contribute like @Disquse has nicely done.
I also apologize for any confusion and my initial harsh response, though itâd be a lot easier if people would at least think about the responses their actions may get, for example by looking at other pull requests or closed GitHub work itemsâŚ
I kind of understand where youâre coming from on this but with the assumption that issues go under the issues section at the time it didnât seem like it was worth doing due to other issues having 0 relevance to what I was reporting.
Anyways, I would like this whole topic to be deleted as it was a private message intended for bubble which was made public without my permission and I donât want it on my profile or want notifications of any further comments on the topic, making this public has resulted in me being contacted with people picking different sides talking nonsense about either one of us some of which due to the public comment you made that misinterprets everything I said when this situation could have easily of been kept isolated between us and completely dropped.

Donât worry, this topic is still private. The only reason why I saw it is because Iâm also a forum moderator. I felt it would be nice to notify you that weâve been working on this issue. But
I appreciate you working on it and I apologize if my message above interpreted otherwise, I appreciate all the work put into the project. Itâs just hidden btw not private, anyone can view it if they have a link which is posted on the GitHub repository under the closed issue which can be viewed from the discord.
