It’s like selling 1 MLO for 100 euros and a subscription for 15 euros, “well, we have a cheaper option of 15 euros per month and the permanent price is not expensive, you are not obliged to buy” but literally you are obliged to pay a subscription lol, hypocrisy.
A standalone is something you own forever. A subscription is something you rent and lose access to if you cancel. Nobody is “forced” into either, both are just different business models.
If you don’t think the product is worth the price, then don’t buy it. That’s not hypocrisy, that’s just you not seeing the value & that’s fine.
