Various city businesses are owned and managed by players rather than NPCs or AI. Businesses are acquired by submitting a business proposal to the Chamber of Commerce within the Mayor’s office. Business owners are given complete autonomy to run their business as they see fit as long as it promotes player interaction and roleplay.

Custom vehicles are important to our servers culture so significant time is put into the development of handling lines to ensure fair escapes, races, or other car involved roleplay. No need to worry about god cars or cars that feel like they’re driving stiff or on ice.
Weekly, cars are added to the server based on votes from the player base allowing the direction of the vehicles being added to strictly be decided by the players not just developers.

Various rules have been updated within the rulebook under the categories below. Most changes reflected are in reference to updated gang policy as well as cleaning up the kidnapping & robbery section.
Gangs / Crews
Gangs / crews should not exceed 12 members in the interest of preventing monopolies. Gang / crew names, territories, and rosters should be provided to the server staff to be recognized as an acting gang / crew in the city. This includes both street level or underground gangs / crews. Staff reserves the right to decline a gang application if their RP is not representative of server pillars or rules.
Territory
Gang / crew territory must be confirmed with server staff to be officially recognized.
Gang / crew may have one building of operations / postal code that is outside of the designated territory.
A gang’s home turf (mapped on the gang board) shall not exceed two designated postal codes.
Within the home turf, the rule of 4 does not apply.
Emergency service will continue to adhere to their unit limits (outlined in their standard operating procedures) even in gang territory.
General gang territory may be expanded as much as desired. For territory expansion to be recognized by the server staff, a gang must occupy (own) at least 50% of the purchasable property of the postal code.
Territory should not be used as a means to bait or flee for the purpose of ambush.
Kidnapping & Robbery
Player limits are expected to be upheld at all times during these specific scenarios. Additionally…
Kidnapping
Emergency Services may not be kidnapped and used as hostages with the goal of having a character released from custody or from prison.
Characters who seek to break their friends or acquaintances out of custody shall do so during a jail or prison transport. Characters should not create ambush or hostage scenarios at facilities like hospitals or police stations.
In the event that law enforcement place themselves in less than advantageous positions at the original scene of detainment or incapacitation, they may be held up for peaceful negotiation for the release of the incapacitated or in custody character. Law enforcement being held up may not be relocated (kidnapped).
Fake hostages are not permitted regardless of group limits.
Gangs / crews engaging in kidnappings should ensure the events have clear purpose and are not used as a means to grind cash through string-robberies.
Robbery
Emergency Services may not be robbed for the sole purpose of stealing their utility, weapons, or unique job related items. However, these individuals may be robbed if the circumstances within roleplay justify it. (IE Law enforcement officer in possession of an item that was taken from you.)
Gangs / crews engaging in robberies shall not, with conscious effort, kidnap the same individuals in back-to-back scenarios.
Characters shall not be killed then robbed (pocket wiping / grave robbing). A conscious decision to whether a robbery or a killing is to take place must be made exclusively. Your character must value the life of the opposing character if you choose to rob them over kill them.

DEVELOPERS NOTE If you had a free motel you’ll need to make a ticket. Inventory isn’t lost but it got reset on the fix. We have a way to convert the inventory from the lost motels and give you the items directly. You will need to open a ticket, give us your characters name, once we have that info, we will get the motel data, join you in game and give you the items.
