Checking for Rockstar Games update services

What is the issue you’re having?

I installed FiveM on a new computer, along with the Rockstar Launcher — everything was installed properly.
Now I have this problem: every time I try to launch FiveM, I get the following error:
“Checking for Rockstar Games update services”, and then a window appears saying
“An error occurred while authenticating with Rockstar services.”

I contacted CFX support, but they told me to look for help here because they can’t assist via ticket.
Rockstar support told me to contact CFX instead — so basically, no one is helping.

What have you tried already to fix the issue?

I’ve already tried the following to fix the issue:

Reinstalled FiveM and Rockstar Launcher at least 5 times

Checked my internet connection, including VPN and DNS settings

Checked Windows services

Tried a different internet connection

Ran FiveM as administrator

Disabled antivirus and also tried adding exceptions/permissions for FiveM and Rockstar

Basically, I’ve done everything I could think of

Windows version

windows 10 22631.5262

System specifications

Intel(R) Core™ i9-14900KF 3.20 GHz, 128gb ram, rtx 4090 24gb
