Rockstar Games X Cfx.re hope this is good news for fivem and redm as both have alot of players and server developers aka myself im not putting it out but its been 5 years on my development dream and i love this platform so easy and yet so configurable for gta5 and redm i mostly like html and lua but i have learnt more on fivem than i have anywhere else but hey This is Big For Cfx.re congratulations

Let’s clear some things up and make some points.
- The CFX team joining Rockstar Games in no way confirms that the service is going to shut down in the future.
- Regardless of the code dispute, weather any of it is stolen or not (most likely reverse engineered), if R* really just wanted this platform shut down, it would have been as easy as a Cease and Desist turned Lawsuit. Then boom, there would have been no more FiveM or RedM platforms.
As a conclusion, nobody knows anything, the future of the CFX platform is very much up in the air. So let’s all keep our hopes out for the best for the platform and have faith that Rockstar is going to take the right steps to growing this platform in the way that we are all familiar with. I doubt the CFX team would have joined Rockstar without it being a good offering.
So really, what’s the point in arguing that “The code’s stolen”, or “They’re going to shut it down”? Regardless of what happens with the platform, we have no control over the outcome. But more likely than not, the platform will continue to grow and strive.
FiveM has brought so much revenue to Rockstar, I doubt they would just simply take that away 
.

People here and in the discord always act like they can’t breathe without FiveM, they flip out as soon as the smallest change is in effect.
Yes, Rockstar isnt that great of an company since GTA 5 Imo. but as you say, if they want they can look at a lawyer the certain way and FiveM would be nothing more than a memory, they dont need to partner up with anyone to do that. xD
So everyone, just stay calm. Worst case you have to play something else, you wont die regradless of what the Future of FiveM is.

Is this gonna be the downfall of FiveM?
Or rockstar is gonna make it better?
From my experience with rockstar says everything,look at the state of gta online, no wonder they bought FiveM. We all know they are better then rockstar was. Unfortunately big company’s tend to get scared over someone else success who are bellow them so, they either crush them or make them join them.

I can almost guarantee the reason they bought CFX is because they seen how many people play FiveM/RedM, how much money CFX makes from Server Boosts, Server Patreon Levels, and money off Tebex.
Rockstar is all about making money, Plus they have said from the beginning of GTA 6 they were wanting to implement an RP mode into it, what better way then to bring on the developers who literally created an RP mode for GTA 5 without core game access.
Give them core game access and shit will run so much better lol.
