Car Wash MLO

⚠️ Important Info ⚠️
You do not need the latest gamebuild to use this interior.

This project is completely free to download

Read below for more info.

Introduction

Carwash is a conversion of the new GTA Online DLC interior. Originally, it was just a teleport-only interior, but now it’s a fully functional MLO. This interior is made especially for RP servers or creative players who want more immersion.
I decided to do this because teleport interiors break immersion — that’s why I rebuilt this space as a proper MLO. With this version, you can freely walk in and out of the interior without relying on any teleport mechanics.

Features

  • Interior & Doors
Compared to the original version, there is now an additional exterior door next to the garages. Also, all interior doors have been adjusted so they can be properly closed, allowing for better control over access and immersion.

  • Interior Optimization
The interior is very well optimized and includes some cool features. It has its own LOD system, meaning the full interior only loads when you’re close enough, so it doesn’t put too much strain on your GPU.

  • Color Configuration
Thanks to @antond1, who created a script that allows toggling entity sets and changing interior colors, you can now easily customize the look of the interior. Simply change the number in the config file, restart the resource, and the interior will load with a different color.
You can find all available interior color previews below.

  • Audio Occlusion
The interior has audio occlusion — if you’re inside, rain sounds won’t bother you unless the doors are open and you are standing near them.

  • Minimap
It also includes its own minimap inside to help with navigation.

  • Custom Doors & Sounds
It also features several custom doors with streamed sounds, so you can hear them opening and closing.

  • For those using older doorlock systems that require door names, here are the door identifiers used:

  • luky3d_carwash_doors001 – leads to the exterior
  • luky3d_carwash_doors002 – interior doors
  • luky3d_carwash_garagedoors – garage door

Important

  • As mentioned earlier in the topic, you don’t need the latest gamebuild

  • All required props from the new DLC are directly streamed in the folder luky3d_carwash/stream/DLC.

  • Once gamebuild 3057 becomes common, delete the DLC folder inside the stream folder to save megabytes of disk space and reduce resource usage. Thanks to @theESK0, this process is made easier for you.

  • To help you remember to delete the folder when switching builds, a server script is implemented in the map that checks your server’s gamebuild. If your gamebuild is 3057 or newer, the script will notify you in the server console to delete the stream/DLC folder. If you delete the folder but are running an older gamebuild, the script will alert you in the server console that the folder is still required.

Details

  • I’m uploading the map both here on the forum and on tebex. The reason I upload it to tebex/keymaster as well is because I find it easier to manage and keep track of new updates there. I will also do my best to keep you informed here on the forum by posting changelogs for updates and fixes.

  • The map is provided completely open both on Keymaster and here, so --you’re free to modify it-- however you want. However, please do not distribute it without my permission.

  • I’m available to help with map installation or conflict fixes here on the forum, but I’m usually more active on Discord. If you contact me on my Discord server, linked at the top of this topic, it will be easier and faster for me to assist you.

Credits

  • @antond1 – Developed the entity set & color control system, allowing easy color switching via the config file. He also provided the custom graphics used at the top of the post (like YouTube, Tebex, and Discord banners) – big thanks for that!

  • @theESK0 – Created the server-side gamebuild check script, which helps determine whether the DLC folder is needed based on your server’s gamebuild version. – big thanks for that!

Download

:memo: Note: While both versions are completely open and identical, downloading via Tebex/Keymaster is recommended if you’d like to be more easily notified about future updates and changes.

What’s the point of using your MLO if there’s already been a pack from a well-known creator for a long time without compatibility issues with other interiors? It looks like a typical PR for your media and friends.

It just looks like you are biased. Neither me or @antond1 needs any PR. We just helped him just out of friendship. Beside that, Luky put extra effort in creating functional interior radar, functional advertising tarp on the outside off the building etc…

No one questions anyone’s contribution. If you really helped “out of friendship” I see no reason to overreact - it looks strange.

Especially since I originally asked a specific question:

Instead of an answer there were excuses conversations about friendship and a list of little things like a minimap (which let me remind you was originally from R*) or a banner. Sure a minimap can be time consuming - but not when someone else did it for you. Listing these as “advantages” already looks questionable. All this seems more like an attempt to justify PR than a constructive response and frankly it raises the question of whether you even understand what an MLO is and how it’s actually developed.

You are delusional.

Hi, @ArniRP
First of all, I want to say that I’m not here to argue with anyone or talk badly about anyone. I just want to explain the context behind my version of the MLO.

I didn’t start working on my MLO because I saw Markz’s version. I had the idea as soon as Rockstar released the trailer for the new DLC. I don’t remember the exact date, but I started working on it roughly a week after the DLC was released in-game. I’ve been working on the MLO in my free time – I don’t do FiveM modding full-time, so I usually work on things occasionally in the evenings.

By the time Markz released his full DLC conversion, my version was already nearly finished – just a few details were missing. From the start, I planned to create my own version tailored for RP – including a minimap, support for older game builds, and a feature to change colors (entity sets). This wasn’t something I added at the last minute – the script for changing colors was made for me by antond1 a long time ago. I use it in other MLOs I’ve made as well, although those haven’t been released publicly.

I like to keep things simple, clean, and functional. My version also streams the necessary props to make the interior work even on older game builds. I wasn’t trying to rush or compete with anyone – I just wanted to make something that made sense to me and would be easy to use.

I also want to mention antond and esk0, because they both helped me with scripts, and I’m truly grateful for that. They both gave me permission to share their scripts publicly along with the map. This was purely about giving credit – without their help, I wouldn’t have been able to do it on my own.
Esk0 doesn’t release anything publicly on this forum, so I really don’t understand what PR you’re talking about. antond 1has released a few things in the past, but whether he plans to continue, I honestly don’t know. From my side, it was simply about respect and gratitude.

So why use my version? It’s compatible with older game builds, includes a few extra RP-friendly features, and is easy to use. If you run a server on the latest game build or know how to stream the necessary DLC files yourself, feel free to choose a different version – mine is mainly for people who don’t want to deal with that or don’t know how to.

All the previous replays could have been avoided if this had been written right away. Alas your friend have chosen a toxic path. Anyway thank you for a clear explanation

Hi, I’m sorry I didn’t address this earlier myself, but I wasn’t home all day. If I could, I would have replied right away. I hope everything has been clarified now and that we understand each other. Unfortunately, what Esk0 wrote was entirely from him – I have nothing to do with it. I wasn’t involved in any way. If you have any other questions or need anything else, feel free to message me here – I’ll be happy to reply.

who are you to insult someone who is creating something for the community, he didn’t break any rules doing it. Why is your profile hidden, typical person to hide behind a computer. Be fair its a good interior and we need to support creators like this. Every map can have compatibility issues, doesn’t matter the creator, I know this because I’ve been fixing other peoples maps and asset issues for years now. Be positive and you will have more fun in the fivem modding community moving forward.
