I downloaded GTA from Rockstar, not Steam.
I have 950+ hours on FiveM, I was going to reinstall my GTA 5 and when I finally did this happend.
I’d appreciate any cind of help. I can also start GTA without any problems and play online/story mode

Something clearly went wrong when installing GTA 5 again, you seem to miss a whole bunch of files (incl. GTA5.exe). compare your installation vs mine:

I suggest fully launching GTA 5. If that doesn’t work then maybe try reinstalling again.

Thanks for the reply.

The thing is that I can launch GTA and play online and story mode, but I just cant seem to play FiveM.

Can you do a search on your machine looking for “GTA5.exe”, I suspect your game files might be installed elsewhere.

This comes up when i sarch up ‘‘gta5.exe’’

And when I check for where the file is this comes up

So seems like I have 2 separete folders or something

Also sorry if its hard to understand my PC, its Swedish so.

I see, the one on your C:/ drive isn’t actually a valid installation (probably the old one?)

Navgate to the %localappdata%/FiveM/FiveM.app and open the CitizenFX.ini

Change the path to:

D:/Program Files/Rockstar Games/Grand Theft Auto V/

Thankl you for your help, once again.

Since I have your discord right here, is it fine if I call you there and I can share screen and you can guide me through the steps? I’m not that good with computers so.

Use the FiveM discord instead, they can help you there.

How do I change the path of it?

Nevermind, I got help from the FiveM discord. I really do appreciate your help,

Thank you so much!
