Hello everyone, I’m trying to modify my gameconfig.xml to be able to add more weaponized vehicle addons without my server crashing but for some reason always when I edit the gameconfig.xml and start Fivem, then FiveM crashes without any error so it closes down and when I relaunch it, it updates the gameconfig.xml back to normal. It happens always even if I just change a setting by 1 point in the gameconfig.xml. So I wanted to ask if that’s normal since a recent FiveM update and they disabled the option to edit the gameconfig or if it is a bug on my side. I also asked a friend to try and modify his gameconfig and he got the same thing.
Hello , did you try to clear your cache , and restore the defaults settings of gta v in offline mod ?
yeah I did that but it also didn’t help are you able to change the five gameconfig.xml?
delete gameconfig.xml , verify files in steam of gta v ,
You shouldn’t run into an issue of your server crashing with your game config.xml file?
did what you said and it’s still not working
I’m experiencing the same issue with RedM and so are several members of our server’s community. When we updated the pool size for our MLO buildings about a month or so ago, it seemed to fix the issue for most players as the edit changes in the gameconfig.xml remained.
<Item>
<PoolName>AnimatedBuilding</PoolName>
<PoolSize value="25"/>
However, this time when I would change the PooSize value from 25-100, and then save via Sublime Text the change saved for that moment. But then when i would start RedM after about 10 sec of the landing page it would force close. I would then reopen and before I seen “Starting RedM”, I would first see “Verifying Content” then “Starting RedM” - then the gameconfig would revert
Hi, I have the same problem, did you find a solution?
It would be great if CFX could update something in the gameconfig.xml. YDR file limit has been reached YFT file limit has been reached. A lot of servers have been getting pool size errors in the last few weeks.
Hello CFX please.
We also wait a long time for the Onesync update from 32 to 128 like GTA have.
have you found a fix to this
