Hello, I have an issue with connecting to my server. I’ve been trying to troubleshoot for the past two days. Hopefully one of you can assist me here.

The issue: I cannot join my server when connecting from the server browser or direct connect. I am only able to connect to it by direct connecting to the local IP (10.0.0.240).

What I’ve tried:
-port forwarded 30120
-port forwarded 30110 (canyouseeme says connection timed out or connection refused)
-adding firewall rules for the application and ports
-disabling firewall completely
-disabling Windows Defender

Does anyone have a solution to this? Why am I only able to connect from a PC on my network using the local IP address? How can I get this to work through my public IP and port? (xx.xx.xxx.xx:30120)

Some information that may be helpful?

It’s a port forwarding issue, not FiveM specific. Try port forwarding tutorials specific to your router and use a port checker to make sure they’re open. Try https://www.ipfingerprints.com/portscan.php to see if it’s closed or filtered.

That website also tells me my 30120 is open and 30110 is filtered.
I’ve port forwarded them both on xFi

edit: now after I opened a port range of 30105 to 30125 and created a DMZ for my PC. It’s showing all ports as filtered. Makes no sense.

If the port checker shows 30120 as open you should be able to join using direct connect. You tried 'connect ’ in console already? (Google “ip” for your public IP). Maybe try rebooting your router if the ports is says are open aren’t actually opened?

I’m not sure how to use ‘connect’?

And I just tried restarting, no effect.
Says 30120 is open, and 30110 is filtered.

‘connect [public IP]’. port defaults to 30120.
