Can I use reshade or is it forbidden and will I be banned after a short or long time? I’m not sure because I would like to make my game nicer but assuming I would get banned, is there a chance of being unbanned?

the server owner wont know what graphics mod you have on your own machine, it wont affect the server. Plenty of ppl on my server have them.
If you use codewalker for maps etc, it will crash it so keep that in mind if you use or intend to use cw

Reshade is client sided, that means that it isn’t bannable.
This has nothing to do with reshade and nothing to do with codewalker. Any modifications to your GTA install might cause FiveM not to load properly. Reshade doesn’t modify any gta base files.
Every cheat is client side, how would you install a cheat on a server from the client? Being client side doesn’t have any bearing on whether something is bannable.
Either way, using a legitimate version of reshade will not result in a ban. .
Basically, yes. Only you need to modify CitizenFX.ini for compatibility, because they are not always stable and can cause crashes. You can find many tutorials on YouTube.
But you won’t get a global ban from Cfx, that was many years earlier, but that’s been resolved and servers can’t handle this, so you are safe with this.
Cheetos are client sided and bannable either.
I mean, there is no way for user to put stuff on server so they can’t be anything else than on client’s side.
