Can I subscribe to Patreon to get a 2048 key while living in Brazil?

I currently reside in Brazil, and I was told that if I subscribe to Patreon while living here, my account will be blocked simply because I’m in Brazil. I would like to understand better how to proceed.

I just want to purchase a key to open my server!

That is a ridiculous claim and whoever you heard that wrong likely has things severely confused. While pledges are processed by Patreon, if everything is done correctly you shouldn’t have any issues.
