I’m currently building a South African-based FiveM roleplay server called GTA Azania, and I’m looking for a few passionate and reliable people to help me take it to the next stage.
I’ve already handled a lot of the groundwork, the server base is set up, some cars and mods are installed, and we’ve got a custom loading screen running. What I need now are people who can help refine and expand it into a real, polished RP experience that feels uniquely South African.
If you’ve ever wanted to be part of a new RP community from the very beginning, this is your shot.
1. Server Manager
What you’ll do:
- Help oversee daily operations and manage staff
- Handle community feedback, player reports, and events
- Keep things organized and professional
Requirements:
- Must be 18+ and based in South Africa
- Previous management/moderation experience on an RP or FiveM server
- Good communication & leadership skills
- Must have a laptop or PC
2. Developer (FiveM / Scripts / Backend)
What you’ll do:
- Work with me on refining the existing base
- Set up and maintain custom scripts, resources, and server configs
- Handle optimization and general backend issues
Requirements:
- Must be 18+, based in South Africa, with a working PC/laptop
- Solid experience in Lua, JS, or C#
- Familiar with FiveM resource management, databases, or GitHub
- Experience with RP frameworks (ESX / QBCore) is a huge plus
3. Map Creator / Mapper
What you’ll do:
- Create and customize areas based on South African cities (Cape Town, Joburg, Durban, etc.)
- Add real-world details like roads, signage, and recognizable landmarks
- Collaborate with devs to integrate your work
Requirements:
- Must be 18+ and based in South Africa
- Must have a capable PC (3D work is heavy)
- Experience with CodeWalker, Blender, 3ds Max, OpenIV, or any other mapping software
- Portfolio or previous examples of work are a big advantage
4. Admin / Moderator
What you’ll do:
- Keep RP sessions fair, organized, and fun
- Help with new player onboarding
- Handle reports, enforce rules, and assist during events
Requirements:
- Must be 18+, South African, and have RP/moderation experience
- Must have a laptop or PC
- Calm, fair, and good at resolving conflicts
5. Support Team (Discord / Player Help)
What you’ll do:
- Help new players join, install mods, and whitelist
- Manage Discord tickets, questions, and in-game support
Requirements:
- Must be 18+, South African, and active on Discord
- Friendly, patient, and organized
- Must have a laptop or PC
General Requirements
- Must be 18+ and based in South Africa
- Must own a PC or laptop capable of running or managing RP tools
- Must have prior FiveM or roleplay experience
- Must be active, responsible, and team-oriented
About the Project
GTA Azania is all about building an RP world that feels authentically Mzansi, the slang, the cars, the culture, the chaos. Think of it as GTA, but with township taxis, real local radio, SA police, and our own stories.
We’re not starting from zero, the foundation is already in place, and we just need a strong team to shape it into something next-level.
