Hey,
I am looking into making a FiveM Server after running an Arma 3 server for a bit and deciding to move into another direction.
Was wonders what people’s thoughts were as to which framework would be best to use for making a server? I’ve narrowed my two choices to vRP & ESX, but I’m just not too sure which one I should work with or which one is easier to produce a high quality server.
Any thoughts or opinions would be awesome.

ESX is the better option out of the two in my opinion. But both aren’t the greatest.
It’s really going to depend on your level of coding skills.
If you have no to very little coding skills ESX is the way to go as it has the most scripts available.
vRP is another popular choice that has a decent amount of scripts available but it is a little more difficult to program for.
The are many other great frameworks out there but none of them have the content available like the 2 frameworks mentioned prior. However several of them have amazing potential just need more modules developed.
So I’d suggest searching the forums here and github for frameworks and see what best fits your needs and skill set.
I personally use a heavily modified vRP 0.5 that I’ve been working on for over 2 years now. However with my knowledge I’ve gained over these past 2 years if I was starting fresh I would look at one of these new frameworks that are under developed because they have some amazing potential.
