When using RegisterKeyMapping, we see the name of the resource in the settings. It would be better to add a server convar ( sv_hideResourceName
) that allows us to hide the resource name, looking cleaner by omitting the resource name. Same for RedM, idk if RegisterKeyMapping exist on RedM tho
So what do you do when your users need to identify which âclose menuâ they are trying to bind when multiple scripts use the same language? Or just be able to identify which keybind belongs to which script when they are trying to troubleshoot.
Then comment the convar while your debugging
I really donât mind the resource name, but I do mind the order they are displayed in!
If all the controls for a single resource would at least be grouped together and then sorted alphabetically and not just alphabetically in general.

Iâm not quite sure how having the resource name on would convey this information anyways, its mostly just an annoyance imo.
