You are absolutely right, I’m sorry about the confusion. Updated the topic

If I’m not mistaken, you use so-called “real brands” such as Pellegrino and Tomato Ketchup for some props.

But aren’t those prohibited?

Having the same size or a similar name to a real-life brand does not make it prohibited. For example, you mentioned the tomato ketchup prop, but the real-life counterpart also has “Heinz” written on it, while “Tomato Ketchup” itself is a universal term and cannot be claimed exclusively.

As for the props with similar names, I have deliberately misspelled a few words or created “fake” mascots and “fake” logos for every brand I used. None of the props contain actual real-life branding, unless I may have overlooked something (which I highly doubt).

You may want to double check that, cause even similarities violate TOS even if they don’t breach specific copyright laws. The approximate imitation of a product with the intention to represent a real life brand would class as a violation and violate TOS. If you weren’t selling them then you would be find, if it was a free resource then you get a bit of protection but if you are trying to profit i.e. sell the items etc then that violates the brands original intellectual property. Just be careful because “immitating” that many brands will likely cause issues.
