I have not played in a week. Tried joining my server tonight and I’m being told I’m banned for cheating. How am I being banned for cheating? When I haven’t played in a week?

read what it says… wait it out.

the only way to trigger a global ban is to inject something into the client, i have heard almost every possible excuse from people trying to get out of it… sadly this is something that can not be reversed.

That’s the thing. I seriously haven’t played in a week. This is the first time ive powered on my PC And launched FiveM… However, it did take 3 attempts for FiveM to update, could that have been the cause?

Only if on one of your three attempts you tried injecting cheats :slight_smile:

You haven’t played in a week? That still doesn’t matter… you could’ve been banned the last time you played. Also if you think it wasn’t you who used hacks, I suggest you reset your steam/social club account password because it may be compromised. Contact rockstar in that case if you need help changing your password.

As the ban message says: staff can not help you with this ban.
