A new city. Built from scratch.

:fire: LAUNCHING JULY 18TH :fire:

Serious, story-driven roleplay · English-speaking · players from everywhere

Atlas Roleplay is a story-first city where the systems get out of your way and the roleplay does the talking. Most things you’ll touch, from the UI to the MDT to the economy, were designed and built in-house for this city only.

How to be there on day one

:one: Join the Discord:two: Accept the rules → :three: You’re in.

No essay applications. No interview queues. Just show up ready to tell a story.

:laptop: An MDT Built for Convenience

Our MDT is fully self-made: dashboards, incidents, warrants, citizen and vehicle records all in one place, plus a physical warrant board hanging in the precinct. Officers write reports together in real time without overwriting each other’s work. And because we wrote it ourselves, when police, EMS, or the DOJ need a change to support their roleplay, we build it.

:house_with_garden: House Robberies, Built by Hand

Every robbable interior is a custom-built shell: we placed every couch, drawer, and cabinet ourselves, so nothing feels like a stock apartment. Robberies are made for crews, with one keeping watch outside while the other works the rooms. Whatever you lift has to move, through a pawn shop or a fence.

:evergreen_tree: Live off the Land

Hunt, fish, mine, and farm with levels that unlock better gear and rarer hauls. Fishing runs on depth and tackle: the right spot, the right bait, the right box. Nothing you gather goes to waste either, with ore smelting into bars while pelts and produce flow into crafting benches and kitchens.

:hamburger: Food Is Gameplay

Restaurants are player-run with real prep chains: ingredients, batches, and the occasional burnt failure. Stock expires too, so the city genuinely needs its cooks. And when you’d rather do it yourself, there are public barbecues out in the world: bring meat, cook it right, don’t serve it burnt.

:wrench: Turn Wrenches, Run the Shop

Hayes Motorworks opens day one as a real player-run shop covering repairs, tuning, and full customs. Invoice customers straight from the shop and watch the money land in the business books, while the shop’s crafting benches pull parts from its own stock.

:film_frames: The Little Things

Scratch off lottery tickets, take polaroids and fill photo albums, or leave written notes in the world for others to find. Contracts are real documents you write, sign, and enforce. The city prints its own newspaper, payphones actually work, backpacks hold your stuff on your back, and if your hat gets knocked off in a scuffle, you can pick it back up.

Launch is the starting line, not the finish:

  • :date: July 18th: the city opens. Hayes Motorworks & Burger Shot open as the first player-run businesses.

  • :sunglasses: First weeks: the crime layer grows with new heists that are already built and being placed into the city, starting with an arms cache raid and the Vankhov jewelry heist.

  • :wrench: Continuously: bugfixing and QoL driven directly by player reports. We wrote our systems ourselves, so nothing waits on a third-party developer.

  • :convenience_store: As the city grows: more player-owned businesses open their doors, more content trickles in, new cars and features emerge.

We didn’t assemble Atlas out of a shopping cart. We built it:

  • ~100 custom systems written for this city. Not bought, not bundled

  • Server-authoritative economy: every price, payout, and roll is decided server-side. Dupers and injectors get nothing

  • Active anticheat and an economy that’s genuinely monitored and balanced

  • One consistent interface across everything: from banking to the MDT, it all looks and feels like Atlas

  • Found a bug? Report it. We fix our own code, fast

We launched yesterday and reached 43 players on our launch day, such an amazing feat! Here’s to many more days of amazing roleplay!

image

## :ambulance: Medical & EMS

- **Calling EMS is now manual.** Going down no longer auto-pings medics. While down, **press G** to page EMS (works while a medic is on duty, and you can re-page once a minute). The police panic button still alerts as usual.

- Injury effects were running about **10x too fast**. Pain and injury effects now last their intended duration instead of hammering you.

- You are **far less likely to stumble** while limping.

- Leftover injury effects (limping, forced walk) are now properly cleared while you recover at the hospital.

- Fixed hospital respawns sometimes leaving you **still bleeding**.

- Fixed getting **stuck frozen in a bed pose** if you went down right as you were being admitted.

- The respawn prompt no longer sits on your screen while you are being treated in a hospital bed.

- Incapacitated patients can now **check in at the hospital** after being transported.

- The pause menu works again while you are downed.

- Hospital respawns now send you to the correct designated hospitals.

- Fixed a duplicate map blip lingering after ambulance alerts.

## :police_car: Police & Courts

- **PD received a battering ram** for breaching locked doors on active scenes (MLOS).

- Police can now **reset pharmacy robbery alarms**.

- Weapon permits cost adjusted, and fixed who can issue licenses.

- Fixed duty blips and the EMS/police clothing blacklist.

- MDT: DOJ no longer sees live dispatch calls or unit locations.

- Chief Judge now has proper management permissions.

## :unlocked: Crime

- **House robbery:** a broken-into house now **stays open until police secure the scene**. Once secured, that house is locked down for a while before it can be hit again.

- Fixed dropped evidence sometimes not appearing, plus house robbery evidence and forced-exit issues.

- **Trunk life got realistic:** while stuffed in a trunk you can no longer crawl, crouch, emote, do the radio animation, or open your inventory.

- Escorted and carried players can no longer release themselves.

- Your phone now closes properly while cuffed or underwater.

- Stolen cars no longer vanish or reset when everyone leaves the area. Your getaway ride stays where you left it.

## :dollar_banknote: Money & Jobs

- **Phone banking: payment requests!** Request money from another citizen by ID with an optional note. They accept or decline from the new Requests tab, and you can cancel pending ones.

- Fixed broken access to society/business accounts.

- Burgershot managers now have proper boss permissions.

- **Delivery jobs:** fixed a bug that could break payouts.

- **Garbage job:** crews now survive lobby closures and late joins. No more getting dropped from your team mid-route.

## :star: Reputation

- Launch-day retune based on real day-one data: **delivery and trucking** climb more gradually at higher levels, and **farming** and **house robbery** XP were tuned down. Nobody was demoted; levels you earned stay yours.

## :sheaf_of_rice: Farming

- Produce sell prices at the trade-in evened out.

- Plants drink **water and fertilizer slower**.

- Plant limit reduced, and planting weed on properties is disabled.

## :slot_machine: Casino

- Lucky Wheel prizes rebalanced (chip prizes adjusted and the wheel’s look updated to match), and a couple of wheel bugs fixed along the way.

## :pick: Mining

- Higher-tier pickaxes now **show a notification when you strike bonus ore**. The bonus was always happening, you just could not see it.

## :poultry_leg: Hunger & Thirst

- Hunger and thirst now **drain noticeably slower**, and **food restores more hunger**. You can RP without living at Burgershot. (Though we know you will anyway.)

- Hold-to-chug drinks now work **inside vehicles**, and eating/drinking retries properly instead of silently failing.

## :automobile: Vehicles

- **Fuel consumption reduced** across the board, plus fuel level sync fixes.

- Mechanic tuning preview now **shows part performance classes** (D/C/B/A) and enforces them, and the preview window remembers where you dragged it.

- Fixed vehicle keys sometimes being handed out for the wrong vehicle. Garage key handover is snappier too.

## :speaker_high_volume: Voice

- Normal talking range pulled in slightly, and **proximity voice is louder** after the “everyone is too quiet” reports.

- The radio volume knob now actually changes radio volume.

- The HUD voice ring now matches your real talking mode.

## :sparkles: Everything Else

- Common item weights reduced, so your pockets go further.

- Debonaire cigarettes are off the shelves temporarily until their icons are ready.

- Animal emotes and the cranial saw emote have been removed.

- Reconnecting while inside a house no longer breaks the interior.

- Marketplace: calling a seller from a listing now works reliably.

- Plus a pile of behind-the-scenes stability and security hardening.

Atlas RP Community Update

Hey everyone!

We have another collection of additions, improvements, and fixes to share with you. This update brings major changes to illegal activities, new quality-of-life improvements, better tools for businesses and emergency services, and plenty of fixes across the city.

:wrench: Illegal Activities

Added

  • The chop shop has received a major update. Crews can now be sent to different dismantling locations, receive directions on their GPS, cancel a job, work together, and continue after reconnecting.
  • Most Wanted now offers a changing selection of vehicles instead of one fixed poster. More opportunities become available as you build your reputation.
  • The black market buyer now has a new screen with changing, limited offers. Deals may change as people across the city do business with the buyer.
  • Various new clues, activity spots, and hidden locations have been added for people to discover, opening more ways to expand their illegal activities. Explore, investigate, and build connections in character to find them.

Changed and Improved

  • Dismantling vehicles now feels more complete. The condition of a vehicle matters, unfinished jobs are cleared properly, and your chosen walk style returns when the work is done.
  • Meetings with the fence are more reliable, even when the buyer is far away. If a meeting fails because of a game issue, you can try calling again without being unfairly penalized.
  • The value of goods earned from different criminal activities is now counted more fairly, helping us keep the economy balanced.
  • Weed plants now lose water and nutrients more slowly.
  • Plant ownership is remembered correctly, and personal planting limits continue to work after reconnecting.
  • Pharmacy robberies now have pacing suited to their location, and law enforcement can properly secure affected locations afterward.
  • Inactive open houses will lock themselves again, preventing abandoned robbery sessions from remaining open forever. Anyone still inside will be returned outside safely.
  • Vehicle theft, dismantling, and other illegal activities received several fixes so their risks, evidence, and cleanup behave more fairly.
  • Police and medical calls connected to robberies now use the correct dispatch codes.

:delivery_truck: Civilian Jobs and Vehicles

Added

  • Fuel pumps now have a prepaid screen. Choose cash or card, pay before filling, and receive the unused balance back when finished.
  • The Annis Euros X33 has been added to the vehicle lineup.
  • Emergency fleet customization now includes interior and dashboard colors, with those choices saved correctly.

Changed and Improved

  • Trucking hauler rental prices have been reduced from $500 to $250.
  • Trucking route markers now show height information, making destinations on different levels easier to find.
  • Rental vehicles now come in a variety of colors, and everyone will see the same color. The system also tries not to give you the same color twice in a row.
  • Rental payment failures and contract delivery messages are clearer and more reliable.
  • Store registers and the mechanic supply interaction are easier to target, including a previously missing liquor-store register.
  • Owned motorcycles can now use the normal vehicle lock controls.
  • Stolen vehicles are less likely to disappear or return incorrectly because someone is inside a nearby home or apartment.
  • Vehicles abandoned for a long time are cleaned up more safely.
  • Rain will occur less frequently across the city.

:credit_card: Banking, Business, and Character

Added

  • Business owners can grant employees access to the business account from a new phone banking screen.
  • Employees can ask to charge eligible purchases to their job account, with access controlled by the business owner.
  • Clothing stores, barbers, tattoo parlours, and surgeons now show the price before you save and allow you to choose between cash and card.

Changed and Improved

  • Business and shared bank accounts appear more reliably without old or duplicate entries.
  • Your preferred appearance-shop payment method is remembered, and cash stored in supported wallets is recognized.
  • If you cannot afford an appearance purchase, the editor remains open and unpaid changes are not saved.
  • Reputation history on your phone now shows clear activity names instead of confusing labels.
  • The management app shows the correct On Duty or Off Duty status for each job, even when someone has more than one job.
  • Chair interactions now require you to be closer, reducing accidental prompts.
  • Sitting and emotes work together more smoothly. Starting an emote frees the seat properly, while sitting safely cancels an active emote.

:police_car: Police, DOJ, and EMS

Added

  • DOJ members can now see who is currently on duty across PD, EMS, and DOJ. Live locations, dispatch controls, and recent calls remain restricted.
  • New and improved suspicious-activity reports give responders an approximate search area instead of revealing the exact incident location.
  • Player-requested casualty alerts now notify both on-duty EMS and law enforcement.

Changed and Improved

  • Quick Dispatch plate scanning has improved coverage and reliability.
  • Dispatch codes and map markers are more consistent across emergency calls, robberies, evidence reports, and automatic alerts.
  • Responding to calls, assigning units, department messages, and confirmations sent to civilians now work more consistently.
  • Cuffed patients can use hospital reception when they are no longer being transported.
  • On-duty map markers follow the correct unit, avoid duplicates when people share a vehicle, and keep callsigns and sirens updated properly.
  • Weapon-license billing and price messages now work correctly for authorized PD and DOJ ranks.

:house: Homes, Voice, and General Improvements

  • House robberies no longer have outdoor rain or snow passing through their interiors.
  • Home interiors now finish loading before you are placed inside, reducing falls, freezing, and other loading problems. If something goes wrong, you will be returned outside safely.
  • New characters are kept safe while their first apartment loads and are released properly if loading fails.
  • Custom home interiors have been repaired so they load correctly.
  • Voices travel more naturally through selected indoor areas while still following normal proximity limits.
  • Radio audio sounds more consistent at different distances and clears correctly when someone moves out of range.
  • Voices using public microphones can be heard more reliably across their intended areas.
  • Door locking and unlocking sounds are now quieter and more comfortable.

:counterclockwise_arrows_button: Removed or Replaced

  • The old pay-as-you-go fuel system has been replaced by prepaid pump sessions.
  • Walk-in and Most Wanted dismantling have moved away from the chop-shop pad and into assigned jobs.
  • The static Most Wanted poster has been replaced by a changing selection.
  • The old black-market parts menu has been replaced by the new limited-offer buyer screen.
  • The misleading generic Online roster status has been replaced by accurate On Duty and Off Duty statuses.
  • Separate radio sounds for different distances have been replaced by one consistent radio sound.

Thank you for continuing to build stories with us. Remember to discover new content through roleplay rather than out-of-character information. Stay curious, make connections, and have fun out there!

## :automobile: Vehicles & Garages

- **Shared job garages now share keys properly.** If your job lets you take a vehicle out of a shared garage, you can now lock and unlock it too. Previously only a small hardcoded list of models worked that way, so plenty of shared vehicles came out permanently locked to everyone but the person who pulled them.

- **On duty requirement restored.** Shared keys for police and ambulance are now correctly limited to on duty personnel.

- **Your fuel survives the garage.** Storing a vehicle and pulling it back out was resetting the tank to a default level. The fuel you parked with is now the fuel you get back.

- **Garage access is checked properly.** Every path for retrieving a vehicle now verifies your job or gang actually has access to that garage first.

- **Dominator 10 trunk.** The Dominator 10 now has its own trunk capacity set for the model rather than falling back to a class default.

- **Stance menu.** Opening the stance menu at a mechanic bay is more reliable, and a refused open no longer leaves your interact prompt stuck and unusable. Any old keybind you had saved for it will no longer do anything.

## :police_car: Police, Courts & MDT

- **Read the full criminal code.** Charge descriptions in the criminal codes table were cut off at 80 characters, so the actual wording of a charge could not be read from the table at all. The full text is there now behind a Show more toggle, and the toggle only appears when there’s genuinely more to read.

- **Weapons registry filters.** The registry now has All, Registered, Stolen and Confiscated filters, so finding every stolen or confiscated firearm no longer means scrolling the whole list. Your search text and filter choice now survive switching tabs, pages load from what’s already fetched instead of re-querying, and an empty result tells you whether it’s your filters or an empty registry.

## :unlocked: Crime

- **Officers no longer earn criminal rep.** On duty officers can still enter an open house robbery to clear the property, but searching furniture in there was awarding them the same criminal reputation as the burglar. That’s now blocked, including if you go on duty part way through, and reconnecting won’t clear the block.

- **Most Wanted board rotates.** The chop shop’s Most Wanted board was re-seeding the same targets in the same order after every restart, so it looked identical each time. It now re-rolls, while leaving anything still on cooldown alone.

## :house: Housing

- **Furniture no longer floats in a void.** When previewing a property, the shell around you could get quietly unloaded while your furniture stayed put, leaving you looking at furniture suspended in empty space. The shell now sticks around for the whole session, is solid rather than a render only husk, and stays drawn at proper camera distances.

## :shield: Anti-Cheat & Fair Play

- **A big pass on false positives.** The movement checks were flagging entirely normal play. A batch of those has been cut, and the reports that do fire now carry enough detail for staff to tell a real hit from a bad one at a glance.

- **Report only detections can’t ban you on their own.** Detections that are set to report rather than enforce were still quietly building toward an automatic ban. They no longer contribute to that total.

- **Stamina consumables are safe to use.** Items that boost your stamina were tripping the anti-cheat, since the effect looks identical to the thing it’s watching for. Those effects are now trusted for exactly as long as they last, and every other check keeps running normally throughout.

- **Combat logging is now visible.** Disconnecting shortly after going down is flagged for staff review. It doesn’t punish anyone automatically, it just means it no longer goes unnoticed.

- **F3 no longer opens the map development tool.** It’s restricted to staff and is command only now.
