Who are we?
Arizona Department of Public Safety Roleplay is a roleplay community that was founded on the 14th of March 2016 aiming to bring an optimized, logical and enjoyable roleplay experience to the FiveM platform. After starting off as a generic a server with no framework and non-els, AZDPS Roleplay has developed far past this and continues to bring new, innovative features to improve the player experience along with features and updates the community requests and votes for
Arizona Department of Public Safety Roleplay aims to be realistic, meaning we try to keep everything within the lore of the Arizona and the Grand Theft Auto universe. We’re always scouring the wiki to see how we can relate new features and ideas with existing lore.
Our Goals
2019 :
As we moved forward into 2019, one of our main goals was to make use of FiveM’s OneSync technology, allowing us to fit more players into a single server and hopefully get a couple more servers running.
2020:
Moving into 2020, our mission was to populate the server, which turned up successfully and we ended up with around 650 members, not bad right? Wrong. While that’s not a bad thing in most people’s eyes, we were at the time trying to be a small server for simple roleplay scenarios. We ended up purging over 2/3 of the members to maintain a decent member count while not being too large.
For 2021, some of our goals include:
- Revised skin system
- Revised vehicle fuel system
- Revised inventory/crafting system
- Revised robbery system (bank & stores)
- Improved and more intuitive drug system
- Additional passive jobs (Fishing/Hunting)
- Persistent player owned vehicle garages (property system)
- Raising our member count to 100-250 (Revamp took a little over a year so member count is low and jobs are open!)
2023:
For 2023, we’re hoping to bring this server back to life as 2022 was a rough year for us and I’m sure a lot of you! If you’re interested in joining go ahead and stop by in the Discord server and say hello! Hope to see you there! (Discord available below, in the “Interested in joining?” area)

While we don’t have any official website or forums as of right now, we are exclusive to Discord, here you can find our basic info which includes all of our rules, information to get started and new player guide which should help you in getting started in ArizonaDPS Roleplay.
Developer?
Since starting Arizona Department of Public Safety Roleplay back in 2016, I have still to this day been the sole developer of its code base. With that being said, whether it’s programming, map editing, vehicle development or simply moderating, we’re always looking for talented people to help out with the project, currently we are comprised of a staff team of around ~7 people, one main developer and one main map developer.
If you feel you can aid in the development and bring a new set of skills to the team, feel free to drop myself (@AZDOJRP) a PM either in the ArizonaDPS Discord or here on the FiveM forums.
Please note, this is a community effort, do not contact me with paid offers or negotiations of pay for work, this is not only against the FiveM TOS’ but something AZDPS and its team have no interest in.
