Did you try to disable/uninstall your Anti-virus? My Anti-virus software didn’t have anything to do with it, I scanned the folder for FiveM and GTA V and it only found a virus in GTA V
Tried to change my GTA III start up music for GTA V because it said there was an error within that within the “Prolugue.pf” folder and that didn’t do anything either
What error message do you get when opening fivem?
Apparently a launch error about something that has to do with the Prologue.pf I think
Can you show a screenshot of the exact error message?
Also, clearing cache or the caches.xml file won’t break your game.
Also, because your game doesn’t start, please fill out the entire support template, as it asks you to do when the game doesn’t run.
I pasted this, at least I think I did but here’s the error.

It was also that the FiveM version of the game doesn’t run but the regular steam version of the game runs.
verify your game files FiveM requires a clean installation of GTA5 to work correctly.
So Uninstall the game, get a copy of my mods, reinstall the game and reinstall my mods?
no, your mods is what the problem is, if you want to do client side mods i would have one install for FiveM and one for GTA5 itself otherwise just verify your game files you dont need to re-install the game if you verify them it will remove the modded files.
How do I verify my mods for GTA V? I haven’t done this before and its honestly new to me.
I’ll check out the link later, my school blocked the link so I’ll check out when I can, but thanks for the solution for this and helping me fix this.
no problem, it should solve your issue, FiveM isnt very good friends with client side mods which is why its recommended to have a clean install.
FiveM requires a clean installation of GTA V, so having modified some rpf files in your gta v folder will break FiveM.
Seemingly, you forgot this part.
I used the “Mods” folder and that’s where I put everything, some of which may have to be outside and some which may have to be in scripts so it’s not my fault for the mod to work.
I have removed my modded files but it is still saying there is an error.
Can you play GTA V without any issues (not using any mods)?
Also, upload a screenshot of your gta v folder now.
did you remove the mods or verify your game files?
I have gotten this issue resolved. Thanks for the suggestion
