Anti Cheat- Anti DDOS

Hello,

I set up a FiveM GTA V RP Server and we have some problems because of our low starting budget.

  1. We do not have a good anti-cheat that stops some of the basics for example “if a cheater stops a client-side anti-cheat”. We use Tigo and parts of Apple.
  2. I need some advices on how to prevent DDOS attacks.

Hey,
For an anticheat, this is one of the best ones that you can get without paying a penny: [RELEASE] Badger-Anticheat (actually works)
Make sure to read the documentation for it though, it is fairly complex and leads to problems if misconfigured.
DDoS-wise, you’d need to install some kind of filtering software to the machine the server is on, I cannot help you on that.

Hey so for DDoS and affordablility I recommend switching to royale hosting as they provide servers that have specialized fivem filtering just ask the staff in tickets and they activate it on their side. https://royalehosting.net and for the anti cheat I recommend Icarus which is a powerful anti cheat used by some of the big servers you can find it on GitHub.

thats totally true, they ddos every fivem server, need to deal with it somehow. our guys cant play already for 4 days, server just dont working, and this royalhosting net doing it so people should buy their ddos protection or something like that… i mean, its not even their product, they use cloudflare on their site… selling air
