When I alt enter it hard locks the game, then my AV wigs out and force closes the process and removes it. Also showing that the GTA process is making alot of changes in registry and it fixes it. (I dont know if this is normal behaviour for the gta process.) – Funnily enough if I do not press alt enter it is perfectly fine, doesnt crash and my AV doesn’t care at all.
Also add what you already tried so far.
Folder is completely excluded for AV, Strangely it never crashed before with alt enter. Recent update seems to have broken it. I can provide screenshots of w/e my AV is spitting out.

disable your virus scanner and see if it still happens, this will atleast tell you if its FiveM’s fault or the AV otherwise fill out the whole support template including the bits you removed.
Im trying a few other things before I resort to trying the AV thing. (My AV is always active even if you turn things off, so id have to full remove it.) Currently doing a complete fresh install of GTA5 and FiveM since FiveM currently refuses to load into a server.
And sorry for not entering the entire template, didn’t think they would be relevant to the actual issue. In hindsight I can see why it would be.
Well, I fixed the alt enter thing. Its no longer doing the hard crash. Currently it has a infinite loading screen when trying to join my regular server however. (Transport Tycoon)
I recommend you make your own post because it could be something else causing yours, they are not all identical 100% of the time. just when you do it make sure you follow the Template
