Hiya, I am creating a new server called Swan City RP based in Western Australia,
I am having errors with the Vehicles as the Siren doesn’t work at all and the main lightbar doesn’t work either, I am using ELS and converted it to Addon, I need help badly!, Would be appreciated
First issue with the lights: The ELS file is formatted incorrectly you have extra 1,4,5,6 that control your lighting. Your xml, needs to be updated with that, with the open extras you have placed in the XML it will cause a bunch of memory leaks. Take a look at the original file in OpenIV, and toggle the extras to see which control what color. (the colors that are in ELS are only for the environmental lighting, it doesn’t change how the texture files appear… red and blue)
Second Problem: Your vehicles.meta has your vehicleclass as VC_SPORT instead of VC_Emergency. Additionally take a look at your flags and put in FLAG_LAW_ENFORCEMENT FLAG_EMERGENCY_SERVICE
Third Issue: The sound files might be fixed by just putting in the vehicle class, I normally don’t use ELS but understand how and why it works. If it doesn’t fix your audio issue, change you audiohash to “police”
Fourth: Not really an issue, if the light settings are defaulted to “2” it shouldn’t matter since all your emergency lighting appears to be set through ELS (keep in mind this also controls how your headlights and taillights display). The siren settings as well are set to “2” generally since everything is already ELS controlled it won’t matter much what is there as long as there is a number since your using default GTA sounds for the sirens.
