Ok, I have search and search for an answer or help with this and as luck would have it, no dice.
The issue I am having is this. When I add a MLO to my server the old building is still there. I have another MLO that has a tree in the middle of it. I am trying to figure out how to fix this. Has anyone else had this happen and how did you fix it if you did. I am new new to this. Yeah it would be easier just to play on a server someone else already has done but I want to learn how to do it myself.
are you sure you start the MLO (it’s nothing else than a resource that needs to be started)? Also the best practice (at least from my experience) would be to add the resource to your server cfg:
start <mlo_resource>
and to restart server to avoid any problems.
How does the MLO folder look like? Does it have the __resource.lua or fxmanifest.lua inside?
It’s all ran together. Are you saying the MLO’s should be started the way you have it?
All my mlo’s are with everything else that starts. Ie scripts cars etc.
have you tried restarting the server? how does the resource.lua of the “broken” mlos look like?
Sorry about the delay. How do you mean, how does it look? I discovered it was another mlo causing the conflict that was nowhere near it. After I removed it, it worked fine. I am curious as to how I can fix that issue. One of my MLO’s worked with another server host just fine but have since moved on from that server host due to issues with support. The server host I have now the mlo won’t work. It conflicts with the original building. similar to it just not replacing it and the old building still being there.
