A mapping does not deactivate

Hello, I have a problem, I had installed a mapping some time ago and I no longer need it today. I disabled it in the server.cfg and I even deleted the mapping from my FTP file but the mapping is still present…

If any one have an idea ? Thanks

have you cleared the servers cache?

Yes btw, i did not specify but yes i clear the server cache

Well, you simply haven’t disabled it properly.

Meaning, it is still enabled somewhere via server.cfg as following examples

ensure mymap

or

ensure [mappacks] #contains mymap subfolder

There’s also one other possibility. You have files doubled somewhere inside another enabled resource and that’s why the map is still visible.

I have correctly disable the mapping in my server.cfg
and i check all my mapping files and nothing similar to this freaking mapping…

Well, you’re triggering it somehow.

Cut everything to bare bones to figure out where it’s hiding.

You also might be accidentally using a different server altogether. Happened to me a few times.

it’s possible a script has the map resources as a dependency . move the mapping folder out of the resources folder
