Ok so the controls are funky on fivem for me I use rockstar version of gta v and when playing on five m the controls aren’t the same the controller works with it but walking forward makes a thing show up and my right stick doesn’t let me look around when in a car and using the dpad only works for the radio please help.

Have you (accidentally) changed the control type in your settings?

Also have you tried looking around the forums? There’s quite a few topics about xbox one controllers not working properly.
Some also provide possible fixes, like this one:

Try holding the left joystick in some position while the Social Club and FiveReborn splash screens appear before the game starts. Works for me.

@NotGigo I’ll try that, we’ll see if it works. Edit: I just figured out that I didn’t calibrate my gamepad on the “Gamepad” tab in the Settings, that’s why I couldn’t use it Well, discard this idea. Sorry I’m a bit dumb hehe…

Did you try to disable/uninstall your Anti-virus? It has been disabled since I’ve started modding.

try re-installing gta v in a proper location. right now your files seem to be scattered across your program files, try installing it in it’s own folder, like this:
C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V\

They are not scattered I just went to my program files. The game works it is the controls that are the problem only when on fivem not on gta itself

Are you sure it isn’t simply the case that the server you’re playing on does not support controllers, or that you’re using some sort of client-side trainer without controller support?

Isn’t either of those things the controller works it’s just the fact that the analog sticks use stuff that fivem has and controls at the same time anyway to change what the controller does for five m

Only thing I use is Bluetooth to hook up my xbox one s controller simple.
