Unfortunately FiveM, just like any service, can be affected by an outage for various reasons. As annoying as it can be, the team behind the project work around the clock at times like this in order to restore services back to their normal state as quickly as possible.
With that being said, I believe the outage has been resolved, so you should be able to now connect and play FiveM without any issues.
For future reference, you can confirm whether FiveM or any of its other core components are down by visiting the Cfx Status Page.
