Fivem had to push out a WIP update as R* had released an update of their own, which I believe conflicted with the previous version of fivem.

At this moment in time some people are able to play fivem, whilst others are not. Fivem is working on the problem at hand. It’s no walk in the park, but no doubt they’ll find a solution. All they ask is that we are patient as they are dealing with the problem.
