There’s literally videos upon videos about why whitelisting kills servers and yet I see most of the servers now even little crappy ones with 10-30 players going whitelist… like it’s some priviledge to play on their server or something… you’re killing your business as most people dont want to go through the hassle of a ridicolous app just to play an old gta5 rp server… especially if you sell stuff on your server why would whitelist and kill your sales…

It’s their server. It’s their business. It’s their choice.

Most people whitelist to keep the players they allow on them in check such as cheaters and trolls.

If you dont want to go through the hoops to get on to said server then dont and find a non whitelisted server.

Whitelisted servers also isnt killing the server in any way at all, servers have been doing this for years.

Server owners whitelist to keep a particular type of players they want. Like a hard RP server, they don’t want some 16-year-old jumping in the server, then running people over and not RP. So why deal with them when you can whitelist and see what kind of player they are?
It makes it much easier to find cheaters and fully ban them from your server. Additionally, you can pass the information on to other servers to stop them From having any fun.
If making a whitelist application is too hard, then don’t go on the server. There are thousands of people that do whitelisted servers, and they all can make an application fine.

I think most people see Whitelisting as keeping the ‘trolls’ out of their server. People put months into developing a FiveM server sometimes. They don’t want to see all their hard work being driven off by some 12 year old kids.

load of non-whitelisted servers you can join, but just because you join one server, that doesn’t reflect on all servers. People have different stuff, custom content, and better communities in whitelisted servers. It’s really up to you if you want a good RP experience or just a bad one, and that’s mostly non-whitelisted servers that have bad RP
