If you’re looking for something different, RP Genesis may be the place for you. We are not only a roleplay server, but also a custom coded full featured MMORPG in a GTAV/FiveM framework. In Genesis, you will choose your path, whether it be criminal, cop, civilian or a mix of these. It is here that your journey begins with a friendly ambassador to show you the ropes. During your time doing various tasks or jobs in the city, you gain not only money, but experience. That experience can be used to gain levels in the variety of skills available to you that grant you more bonuses towards your jobs or tasks.

When you’re tired of the working grind, you’re sure to find an event designed by the city to help you let off some steam. In Genesis you’ll encounter events such as scavenger hunts and demolition derbys, tasks offered to you by shadowy figures for financial gain, you may even find yourself the victim of a kidnapping hoping that your friends will save you or come through with the ransom!

Perhaps you just wanna play a fancy card game? We have that too. It’s a fully functioning card game that is inspired by Triple Triad, Obliviverse Cell Control(OCC). Not only does it expand on the original but also includes many familiar characters that exist in the Obliviverse.

  • Various precious gems now come from nodes when you mine them.

  • Tweaked the values of the vehicle and engine degradation so it’s not quite as obnoxious.
  • Disabled UBI for business employees that don’t get paid from the business, no double dipping.

Vespura:
LSPD Changes

  • Added an indicator on the screen for as long as you are 10-7 and on duty as a cop.
  • Only show the most 100 recent forensic entries in the MDT to prevent flooding it and making it slow.
  • Fixed the Commissioner rank display in the MDT.

Bugfixes/improvements

  • Allow setting business job paycheck back to 0 after you’ve set it to anything above 0 and prevent negative paycheck values.
  • Fixed the hellion sell price.
  • Various small improvements not worth mentioning separately.
  • Fixed the background of the alert/warning popup screen for /trade and similar actions.
  • Fixed the bonuses for Marc DeMartini, Driveby King and 'Murica Ranger.

Genesis 1.7.7f (Versecore build 3600) is now deployed with the following notes

Vespura

  • When taking out your vehicle from your house garage, you will now be placed inside your vehicle so you no longer get stuck clipping through your vehicle.
  • When you take out a car from a garage, the area around the parking spot should now hopefully get cleared properly of any local vehicles. Note that it doesn’t affect player vehicles, only local vehicles will be cleared. It’s not perfect, but I hope it helps at least a little bit.
  • The Casino Penthouse Garage (interior) entrance has been moved to the rear of the Casino to accommodate for vehicle-friendly interior entrances.

Fixed

  • Some vehicle modifications weren’t properly applied when spawning a vehicle from a garage. This was due to a recently discovered GTA bug. This means that setting the vehicle customization will now be delayed by 0.5 seconds after you spawn your vehicle, to ensure it is applied correctly. You might notice a small change in vehicle performance because of this.

New

  • Added a garage at LSIA. You can now store your vehicle in the garage nearby when going to Cayo Perico.
  • Added a garage at the Casino. Please use this if you go to the casino with your own vehicle, to prevent the casino entrance from being blocked by all the cars!
  • The Casino Garage and Casino Penthouse Garage (interior) entrances are now vehicle-friendly.

Gemcutting

  • The geodes now actually drop from nodes (let me know how often / not often you get them so we can adjust rates)
  • The Geode Dropoff and Gem Pickup have been implemented in the Quarry
  • The Jewelcrafting station at the Pawn Shop in Vinewood was added

  • Getting a blackjack now actually pays triple in the Casino
  • Metal Detector no longer says $1,500 for rental, it properly shows $500

Civ Tuning

  • Decreased XP of: Sanitation, Taxi

Crime

  • Dial Safes now payout based on the amount of pins in the safe, not a random amount.

Vespura
Vehicle Changes:

  • Changed the vehicle underglow/neon colors to match the vehicle headlight color options (won’t affect your current car, only if you re-apply it in the shop).
  • Added Benny’s, Benny’s Bespoke and Street vehicle wheel types (that is 646 NEW wheels to choose from!) to all customs shops.
  • Improved maintainability of the mod shop code.
  • Rewrite the vehicle indicators/windows toggling to be much more efficient and ensure it no longer conflicts with controller keybinds.

Other (QOL) changes

  • Remove invalid ATM’s. Also removed the ‘E: Bank’ prompt from ATM’s because that didn’t do anything.
  • Reworked blackouts to support distance based blackouts.
  • Made vehicle lights unaffected by blackouts.
  • Hopefully fixed a trading and mining bug.
  • Added the Music Locker entrance at the left side of the Diamond Casino.
  • Added the Kosatka interior entrance in a hidden place, good luck finding it!
  • Stop your phone or inventory from opening when you have the pause menu active.
  • Fixed a bug where when you should’ve received a used miner helmet, it instead gave an invalid item.
  • Fix the description for the Luca Blight Bobblehead and make sure you no longer get it from any loot.

Police changes

  • Sorted BOLO’s, Forensics and Warrants in the MDT to show the most recent entries at the top instead of the bottom.
  • Sorted the Active Scenes in the MDT so the most recent calls will always go to the top. This works for new calls as well as calls marked as code 4 or 10-76.
  • Added a debug fallback value of “unknown” if the call name is missing. If you notice this please let me know.
  • Server admins can now change people’s callsigns. If you got promoted, make sure to ask an admin to change your callsign for you while you’re in the server.
  • Added a chat message for police when someone goes 10-7 or back 10-8.
  • Removed the extended clip from the Heavy Pistol in police loadouts.
  • If you try to place down more than 6 barricades or spike strips in one go it should now properly limit to 6 instead of just not working at all.
  • Updated and fixed the list of cars in the police garage to have the correct names for the PD rework.

Lux

  • Revised Milk sale prices
  • Added prices to trinkets
  • Enabled 2020 KIA Telluride custom car

Kain

  • Rewrote a ton of Car Dealer, now there should be far more consistency in pricing and what you see.

  • Moved the business blip for Mosley’s to the office in the back.

We thank you for showing enough interest in our community to voice a concern about one of our systems.

Our server and its systems are designed in a way to place the focus primarily on the role play rather than on the mechanical grind. Boxes(and similarly their contents) are able to be acquired from civilian and criminal activities, in daily logins and participating in often held events.
If our customers purchase boxes, all the proceeds go to help covering the server cost.

  • Updated the legendary loot to give Admin Appreciation boxes not Lux boxes.
  • The Gold Coin shops at Arcadius and Talbot have returned.
  • Some MDT changes.
  • Admin fixes and improved event tools.
  • @(A-3) Lennix Lockson changed some of the locked doors at PD, so thank him for that glorious change, no longer do you need to (un)lock 10 million doors.
  • Moved the location where you end up after ALS’ing to the bottom of the hospital instead of the top entrance. This should hopefully prevent people from falling through the map and ending up in the sewers after ALS’ing.
  • Add debug information for when ammunation stores break.

Whitelist

  • Genesis is once again a whitelisted server requiring new participants to apply via Discord and be present in the Discord to participate.

EMS

  • The EMS system has been implemented from the ground up with a new system.
  • You can apply and interview by speaking to @(E-1) Zhanluan (Lyla/AJ/Clara)
  • Features will be rolling out over the course of the next few weeks.
  • This is a whitelisted position similar in scope to Police, and we reserve the right to deny it to anyone for any reason.
  • As part of this the Police Duty system has been rewritten and optimized to now function for Police, EMS, (and soon Mechanics and Car Dealers!)
  • As part of this the entirety of the police scripts were re-written and optimized with redundant / bad / out of date code eliminated or improved.

Cooking

  • Foundations in, full system imminent in the next few days.

Banks

  • Banks have been rewritten from the ground up.
  • Banks now properly reset and don’t need a server restart or admin script restart to function properly.
  • Banks can now contain carts, or safety deposit boxes you can drill (disabled until carts are balanced. )
  • Banks no longer take Bank Manager Keycards to open and require a hacker.
  • All carts have the same loot pool due to the above change, so the front cart is worth as much as the rear carts.
  • You can now hack the inner door rather than drilling it.
  • Animations and scenarios retained from the previous bank script by the former Linvala Tepes

Misc

  • Removed the old hunger / thirst sprites from the HUD.
  • Fixed the black bars on F2.
  • Added a series of zones for the new context / radial menus we’re creating to allow you to hotkey do things at various places.

Genesis 1.8.3 (Versecore build 3734) is now deployed with the following notes:

New Phone

  • The antiquated gcphone script has been retired, a new upward scaling, highly anticipated and awesome phone has replaced it.
  • The new phone is a highly modified version of the qb-phone script located here (https://github.com/qbcore-framework/qb-phone)
  • The phone supports texts, calls, vehicle tracking, twitter (with hashtags and mentions), advertisements and phone based notifications.
  • We will be rolling out new features/apps to the phone consistently over the course of the next month, as we create and fine tune new applications for it. (BIGGG stuff coming!)
  • You can give someone your phone number easily now by showing them your ID, which will add a suggestion in their phone to create you as a contact.

QoL

  • Kismet replaced with Chris in luck notifications.
  • Experience values slightly adjusted to flatten the curve on leveling a bit and make it less of a pain in the ass.
  • Daily Rewards have been reset for the month of September

Time for some improvements!

Fixed:

  • Fixed haggling for chop. We’ll keep tweaking this until it’s balanced.
  • Fixed a phone exploit.
  • Fixed the cop radio animation getting stuck when releasing the PTT key.
  • Fixed a phone crash when identity data failed to load.

QOL:

  • Reworked /helpperp. You can now put multiple people in a car, even if there’s already someone in the car. You can also put people in a cars that don’t have back seats, they’ll be placed in the front passenger seat but you’ll need to get in quickly after that before they shuffle to the driver’s seat!
  • Changed drug haggling effectiveness slightly. We’ll keep tweaking this until it’s balanced.
  • Changed the RPGenesis logo on the loading screen.
  • Restyled the rewards page slightly to make it easier to spot the “Collect rewards” button and other small styling changes.
  • Moved the MRPD helicopter garage to the lower heli pad to prevent local police helicopters from interfering.
  • Event tools improvements.
  • Updated the fines. Community service has been removed for now. It will return in the future as an optional choice to do while in prison to speed up time instead of the porter jobs. @LSPD Patrol be sure to check the updated Penal Code!

Classic Joker has been defeated, the Obliviverse has been saved. The power of the Rune of Beginning was undone through great sacrifice by the world. The showdown atop the Casino cost many lives, and countless amounts of property damage. Classic Joker was taken into custody by the enigmatic Timelords and Ultimum Tempus, and Aluc Tepes was once more unleashed upon reality.

Through the efforts of the newly forged coalition of Deities the world has been rendered safe, but new threats cascade across the island of Los Santos. Eris Hale, the Deity of Undeath stalks the land, infecting her rot within anyone unfortunate enough to cross her path. Aluc Tepes, the Deity of Darkness walks the realms once more, his true intentions and purpose unknown to all but himself.

From our very future, Quincy and Violin have travelled backwards intent on assassinating the leader of the Guardians, Viola Tepes. What part will YOU play in this story? Anything is possible on Genesis. Our World. Your Story. Welcome Home.

Mining

  • Complete rework. You now select what particular item you want to mine off a node. Different nodes have different possible items.
