What is the the RconLog() function?

Present in the ■■■■■■■ default resource, but I have no idea what it does.
Couldn’t find any piece of documentation, and except from the ■■■■■■■ script, I only found this line:

What it was supposed to be? And Why it’s implemented in the ■■■■■■■ resource?

A live event feed accessible over HTTP. Nobody seemingly used it, so it wasn’t re-added when the server was rewritten.

Why not?
