Important parts

What is the issue you’re having?
When trying to join a server, Lucid City, I keep getting the error “We are unable to identify your account”. Several others are getting the same error when trying to join this specific server. All other servers work fine. Staff of the server insist that this is a FiveM issue and suggested that we report it.

What are you trying to do?
Join a server

What have you tried already to fix the issue?
Reinstall fivem, clear cache, reinstall steam, reinstall discord, update permissions, reboot my system

Error screenshot (if any):

What did you do to get this issue?
Nothing, it just started happening today and its never happened before

What server did you get this issue on? Be specific and name some, ‘all of them’ by itself isn’t useful!
Lucid City

There’s no message in FiveM code that has this phrasing. We’d have to have the server staff report this and say what code they’re using to show this.

However, we have recently seen some reports from other servers with similar code expecting a non-empty list of ‘tokens’ and this might be the issue here as well… however server staff telling people to ‘ask us’ without providing any info as to what their code is doing is very counterproductive. Either way, the issue should be resolved now, if it is even that in the first place.
