VXN Bodycam
About a year ago I made a Scaleform to try and replicate the bodycam overlay seen in the first GTA 6 trailer. I did, but eventually dropped it until a few days ago when I decided it might be a cool idea for a mod, so here it is: a simple, cinematic body camera with a functional overlay.
As of now the camera attaches to the head, but you can customize the script to your liking. If you experience any issues or have any feature requests, please let me know or feel free to make a pull request on GitHub.

- 2 custom commands & keybinds:
/bodycam- turn your bodycam on/off/bodycam:serial- edit your bodycam’s serial number
- ~0.03ms or lower on resmon at all times
Notes
- This mod is designed to be for cinematic purposes only. There is a known RAGE limitation where shooting and other actions are not replicated when a player is using a non-gameplay camera. I cannot guarantee functionality if you attempt to do PvP while using the bodycam.
- RAGE only upscales Scaleforms to 1920x1080. If you are using an ultrawide monitor, the bodycam overlay may position itself more central on your screen rather than to the site. If there is demand I will be more than happy to port the Scaleform to NUI to account for this.
Installation
- Download the source code from the repository
- Extract the contents of the archive to your server’s resources folder
- Ensure the resource
- That’s it!
