This script was clearly modified from the Nt_Poker script and there is no issue with you selling it. The issue is the script cannot be escrowed since the original was under **GNU General Public License v3.0. **
In the description it states only the config and locales are accessible which would violate the license. You are required to provide any customer who purchases this script the full open and editable script.
At least to the best of my understanding of the GNU General Public License v3.0 license.

GPL-3.0 is an open-source license. It allows people to use, modify, share, and even sell the software, but if they distribute it, they must keep the GPL-3.0 license, provide the source code, and preserve the original copyright and license notices.
I know that and it is not used by any other script or something else breaking the rules. This script is completely written by me and after downloading and comparing the Nt Poker Script and mine there are no similarities in the code.
The only things that might be similar are the controls, okay but they are limited in RedM so that’s no big surprise and the anim dicts but even this isn’t any surprise isn’t it ?
I know what these licenses mean and I don’t hurt them because I don’t want to get in trouble though.
Don’t know what is your problem with it or with me. I don’t know you guys and you probably don’t know me.
Because you might be the owner of Nt_Poker I would like to show you that this script didn’t copy a single line of your code if you want to. That’s no problem for me. After showing it you can prove to others that my script isn’t similar to yours
Lots of similarities. Somethings are the same in all poker scripts like animations. But the set table UI, button label for npcs, and prop placement is very close to Nt_Poker.
I can do my best to do a non biased review, since I am the owner of Nt_Poker. I can let AI compare the two scripts.
Like I said I have no objections to the script or modified versions being sold, I only want the license to be followed.
Okay then, I’d Love to invite you to take part in a phone call with Screen sharing and Show you the whole source code and either give you Open source Version. No problem
But in advance some questions to your Script. It doesn’t seem like working properly. No npc spawning when using the button, what is PropTest used for and why can I Set any table or Chair used to be as PropChair etc ? Tested around a little bit but this script seems like it’s not really working though. I could only play together with other players. Also there are some gaps. Clients could look easily which cards are on others players hands. This script you made seems like it’s full of gaps that need to be closed. Technically, Nt_Poker obviously needs an overhaul and I’d like to help you out making this script secure.
Even placing isn’t like mine.
These are some questions that Opened to me comparing this scripts. You’re right that optically there are some similarities. Okay, can change it completely, easy. I’m a programmer, creating websites for companies as a CEO and doing scripts is a sidekick for some of my employees and me. Maybe one of them saw your script and didn’t told me about it and built in visual things. But only with visual similarities there isn’t any violation of this license when source code is completely different and has nothing to do with yours. Or am I doing wrong in that mindset ?
Next thing I saw is that there is in your script some functions with prefix rainbow_ and afaik it´s used by ShameyWinehouse but I don´t see any credits to Shamey in your Script. GitHub - ShameyWinehouse/shamey-poker: RedM script for poker · GitHub Look here.
ShameyWinehouse is not named anywhere as the original author, and there is no explicit copyright notice (“Copyright (C) … ShameyWinehouse”). Section 5 of the GPL requires that copyright notices be preserved and that changes be clearly indicated.
Just for you to know that I know about the rules.
thank you for informing me, I updated the readme to correct these issues, and will review further to make sure I fully comply. I am by no means an expert. As posted as a fork on github non of this information was concealed and the license was carried over from the original the whole time.
I have no interest in continuing this as the pictures speak for them selves about where you got the code from. If you discover any other issues on my end in relations to the license I’d be more then happy to correct them.

As I said, I don’t want to single anyone out here either. I just want to share my work, which includes many unique features and possibilities. But I always find it very unfortunate that people who aren’t familiar with the code immediately assume it’s plagiarism, just because there are—or might be—some similarities.
I’m also more than happy to offer support and help secure and further develop your open-source resource. Of course, only to the extent that the servers can use it safely
That means, if you’re interested, I’d work with you to complete your code.
I’m the last person to judge anyone for anything, and I hope that we can simply stick together as a community. Hatred in society has become so widespread, especially on the internet—even though we’re all in this together, in a sense.
And as I said I would be so open and show you my source code.
