Important parts:
While playing on servers that use pma-voice script, the in game menu shows my voice chat output device as my headset, but the voice chat goes through my speakers. Whenever I change it to the speakers and back to my headset, the voice chat breaks entirely. It only occurs on servers that have pma-voice script.
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Have computer speakers, and headset plugged in.
- Launch FiveM and go into server that has the the script
- Have someone speak near you, and hear the audio go through speakers
- Change audio output from headset to speakers (Back to headset after testing with it set to speakers)
- Turn it off and on
- voice chat stops working entirely.
Script dev advised me to post here: Different Audio Devices · Issue #388 · AvarianKnight/pma-voice · GitHub
