Is there a way to restrict certain Peds to groups (Admins,Mods)?
Are you running a Linux server by chance?
Just so you’re aware, I was unable to run this version on my Linux server; the resource will be started in server console, and no errors can be seen in the client console, however, the keybinds just would not work. Also the release files are missing a __resource.lua file (yes I added one in using a link I found to a file on your website). Leaving the permissions file as it was, and just changing out the resources files for one version down, and it works again. I’m running artifacts 1686
No, running Windows.
can someone show me how to add cars to addon menu
Most likely you are not executing the permissions.cfg (correctly).
Okay well how do i executive it correctly, does it say how to in the docs?
If i most likely executed permissions.cfg wrong, then how do i do it right??
Has anyone had the issue of Vmenu not allowing the user to select certain options in the Vmenu, and wont show all of the Admin perms that the user should have.
I’ve only noticed this issue when i updated vmenu to 3.1.2.
Anytime any of my players die and revive, theyre stuck with an AR (or another gun) and cannot switch out of it or switch guns
My admin permissions are not working at all. I added my steam hex to the admin group but nothing is happening.
The Permissions.cfg file has this
add_principal identifier.steam:11000010e8accc7 group.admin
My server.cfg has:
exec permissions.cfg
start vMenu
Thanks in advance.
did u ever find a fix?
Admin duty in menu?
Vmenu is not working
Im admin in a server and everyone is using the menu without any issue but its not working for me
vMenu ignores the permissions i set no matter what i try.
I have tried fixing how it executes permissions.cfg, setting it to not ignore permissions, etc.
I’ve done like everything.
I am running a windows server off of zap hosting, using the vMenu installer in the zap hosting resource panel. I have the latest fivem updates installed aswell.
make sure on zap under resources it don’t say anything about over writing it in their resources tab and make sure to have exec permissions.cfg at the top of your server.cfg
It says nothing about over writing, and whenever i put it at the top of my server.cfg it makes vMenu just not launch.
Never mind, fixed it!
the exec command was only set too /resources/vMenu/config/ which is wrong, you have to put the whole directory,
for instance “g19997/gta5-fivem/serverdata/resources/vMenu/config/permissions.cfg”
or else vMenu cant find it.
