Stuck In The 90s is a strictly whitelisted, slow-burn Serious RP server dedicated to providing an immersive 1990s experience. We focus on deep character development, a realistic economy, and custom-tailored scripts that force players to slow down, interact, and think about their actions.
We are currently in active development and are looking for mature, veteran roleplayers to help us build the foundation of our city before our official launch.
What makes our 1990s experience different?
We are not just slapping a “90s” label on a modern server. Our development team is building a world that truly reflects the era:
Era-Accurate Communication: Modern smartphones are gone. Rely on a fully functional Pager (Beeper) System, use retro cell phones, or find one of our fully functional map-wide Phone Booths. You can even call a specific phone booth from your cell to set up secure meetings. Stay updated with readable Newspapers.
Advanced Mechanic & Used Car System: Vehicles require actual maintenance. Engines will degrade over time without regular oil changes. Mechanics use physical props for replacing parts. Forget luxury imports; our economy thrives on a player-driven Used Car Market where mileage and engine health actually matter.
Physical Documents & Insurance: Vehicle registration and insurance are physical inventory items. Insurance requires recurring monthly payments to stay valid.
Physical Clothing & Motel Keys: Stripping clothes creates a physical item in your inventory that can be handed to others. Renting a room gives you a physical, storable key for your specific motel room.
Era-Appropriate Crime & Syndicates: Build a criminal empire that fits the 90s. We offer custom car bombs rigged to the ignition, physical drug processing, and a complex money laundering system requiring front businesses (cash is king!).
Emergency Services (Currently Hiring LEO & EMS)
We are actively looking for department heads and officers to build our emergency services from the ground up.
- Custom Police & EMS MDT: Built from scratch to fit our lore. EMS personnel have access to an advanced MDT that includes detailed logging for psychological records.
- Old-School Investigation: No magical GPS tracking. Detectives must rely on Polaroid Cameras for crime scenes, physical evidence collection, and we are working on mechanics for Wiretapping Payphones for deep investigative RP.
