Update 4/6/2019

With the exciting and exponential growth this community has experienced I have decided to whitelist the server. I took into consideration our current members and spoke with staff about how this is all going to work. ~~The integration I have decided to use is Discord for handling whitelisted members since it is already used for in-game permissions.~~

I have also decided to require a working microphone for all members.

vStancer. To change your wheel stance, enter a vehicle and press F6.
New offroad addon wheels.
New Highway Patrol vehicles that are still a work-in-progress.
New ELS resources that has a very minimal performance impact.

Whitelist is now toggleable by staff. When the whitelist is on, only players who have an account on the dashboard can connect. https://blainecounty.life/dashboard/
Added many new SAHP and unmarked vehicles.

Dashboard
The dashboard has been fully reworked to allow multiple characters. There is also now a proper close button at the bottom of the tablet.
Currently you can have up to 3 characters.

The database has been refreshed so everyone will need their permissions set by staff.

Just a quick update to the update…

Server
There is now an addition AOP script to contain players to Blaine County. Leaving the AOP will teleport you back.
Added realistic weapon sounds.
Added a car dealership in Harmony near the bank.

Dashboard
When a player connects to the server a welcome page will be loaded.
A check will also be ran to see if they have an active character.
If no active character is found the dashboard will open until a character is created.

Added streaming visualsettings.dat
Added another bunch of popo cars.

Removed permission for repairing car since it was getting abused. Just spawn a new one until a repair shop script is in place.

Updated the id/name above heads.
Updated AOP, Nearest Postal, and Street Label positions in the HUD.

Fixed ELS configs so cars with cast the appropriate color on the environment.
Fixed handcuffing.

Community
Due to the costs of operating Blaine County Life, there is now a Patreon Page for members to support this community. As of now there is one tier which is Civilian that will allow members to create more than one character in the dashboard.

Anyone can view the monthly invoices for operations here.

+ Added a reputation system where players can earn the civ group by playtime or participating in the server. Currently 400 reputation is needed. 5 points are issued every five minutes in-game which means it should take at most 4 hours to earn enough points.
+ Reduce reputation points if the player is using the default skater ped.
+ Increase reputation points for using roleplay commands such as `/me` `/tweet`
+ Added a complete license plate system that prompts players to register their plate if it is not in the database.

Hi, just wanting to make you aware of the fact that Fenton (the creator of the newsvans) has a disclaimer for his vehicles that requires you to get permission before using it on fivem servers.

Using assets without permission is also against fivem server rules, so I suggest you get permission or remove it from your server.

99% of models aren’t actually made by the model creator - either they’re made by Rockstar, or some other game, and then ported to GTA V. Considering he took the time to map the vehicle, port the roof parts from another game, and assembled it into a vehicle, I think he’s got a fair amount of right to say how his vehicle is used.

According to the FiveM team, Fenton does have the rights to these vehicles, as he has been able to get other servers to stop using them in the past. I would strongly advise you to do the same.
