What is the intended Javascript equivalent to RegisterNuiCallback(name, callback)?

I’m currently doing
RegisterNuiCallbackType(name);
on(’__cfx_nui:’ + name, callback);

but it never fires (I have a chatMessage emit as the first line.)

There are lots of examples of how to post the event from the html side, so I seriously doubt that’s the problem. Debugging through localhost:13172 shows the post being sent but not responded to.

There’s none at this point. Some people have ported the code in scheduler.lua to C#, this same concept should work in JS as well.

In addition, does the same code work if you’re doing it from a Lua client script in the same resource? Some people reported issues with resource names containing capital letters, as that is not a supported scenario.

I found my error. I had typo’ed a variable name in the first line of the callback, and that blocked everything below it from happening.

Incidentally, I had to rename my resource to remove capital letters. I found that post() was automatically doing a toLower() on the http domain causing a 404 error due to the mismatch. And that makes sense as domains are supposed to be case neutral.
