Did you try to disable/uninstall your Anti-virus?

Filtered through all resources using grep -r Invalid resources/* but it continues to say “Invalid password” out of nowhere. I can still connect to the server, as well as other players but this is of course worrysome.

Invalid Password in Console Server Discussion

Actually his answer is not far off, that thread just does not give an answer. The issue is a bot that has recently been going around trying to “guess” RCON passwords. If its a big issue that invalid password is being spammed you can always download something like wireshark to track the packets going to the rcon port. FiveM does use packets as well to check on the status of the server so it is better to make sure you have the right IP so you dont screw more things up than its worth.

There are 2 ways to stop this:
Solution 1 - Disable RCON all together if your not using it. I’ve never tried this myself so I dont know how what text you would need to put in your server.cfg to go about doing so.

Solution 2 - You can download wireshark and monitor all UDP packets that go to your server.

Make sure to monitor while the bot is attempting to log into rcon. You can setup filters in wireshark to only monitor the correct port. Look through until you have an RCON packet, make sure none of your admin are logged into RCON, then you can block it using IPTables. Good luck!
