So our server has been exploding with this working on our server.
Now that we have about 1000 player entries in the DB, we started having real big issues with our servers.
After painstakingly removing almost every mod, gcphone was the culprit for causing this “disruption”.

What would happen is this: Server ran fine for 2-3 days.
But then it start… Restarts -> server is fine -> a few people start making calls and then boom, can’t use /ooc, can’t use garages, can’t do anything that requires the database or any input at all.
But you can still voice chat and move around in game. Server is “offline” (failing on handshaking for new connects) but players are still in game.

I’m not too sure what’s happening, it’s definitely way above my knowledge… but maybe this could help you guys avoid a future problem as well.

We had to remove the phone and I’m now working closely with a developer to try to identify what is happening…

Have you experienced gentleman seen this before? Am I being an idiot and missing something stupid?

Just an update for people who had the send coordinates issue on GCPhone. My github copy for English and what not has been updated with a FIXED coordinate sending in Text system.

Hmm then how server have the GCPhone worked? Do you know if they’re they goin to update it soon?

What are you talking about? Your question doesn’t make sense. GCPhone works fine, but when texting, pushing RIGHT to send GPS Coords wasn’t working in my translated version of it. Had a pull request for it, a gentleman fixed it and I updated the github with the pull request.

Okay i’m a bit confused now. I have an error from esx_addons_gcphone, the problem comes from esx_addons_gcphone or CGPhone?

For all people.

This tutorial page should be edited to clarify things … or unlisted and recreated

You have issues with my posting my github rendition of it? (English version of the script and modifying it currently to disable a few things and add new features like a proper twitter function) @HalCroves
