Trouble with entering my apartment

so to put it dead simple i walk to my apartment door exit then walk back to enter the menu shows enter apartment, ring doorbell and so on but i hold the alt key for the 3rd eye and get no mouse to select which option,

its not just this in particular its with any menu ??

any help would be much appreciated ??
