Silver Lining Roleplay is a roleplaying community that was founded in 2020. SLRP is focused on providing members with a serious roleplay experience. By combining elements of both ESX and vMenu, Silver Lining is aiming to provide a mix of fun and realism in a way that differs from other communities.
Timeless hours have been poured into making the overall experience unique and tailoring the in-game content to be the best it possibly can. This is a whitelisted community, meaning that anybody who likes to join has to fill out an application. We have multiple departments at Silver Lining that operate at a different capacity within patrols. Additionally we are looking for members that want realistic environments that do not involve guns or shooting on every scene.
The Civilian Department has a multitude of different jobs, provided by the ESX elements that are implemented within the server. This kind of hands-on approach to roleplay expands the opportunity for quality interactions. We also provide a vMenu option for Civilians that prefer a more direct approach to Roleplay that wonโt restrain creativity when creating scenarios.
Here at Silver Lining, we were successfully able to combine these two separate approaches to Roleplay without conflict of interests. Each Civilian is able to Roleplay at their own pace and at their own capacity, which makes for a tailor-made roleplay experience.
Applications are also open for the Fire Department 
. We believe that the Fire Department is one of the strongest links to providing a quality roleplay experience. We have spend a lot of time to ensure that the Fire Department is able to operate within Roleplay both seamlessly and efficiently. We also provide the Fire Department with plugins that were specifically designed to make the roleplay more immersive, such as a working stretcher and CPR emotes. The Fire Department also has jurisdiction state-wide.
Our Dispatch 
department is the glue that combines the rest of the departments together and takes the immersion to the next level. Dispatching is a great way for people with low-end hardware to interact with the community in a constructive and positive manner. We have several plugins included within the CAD System that makes the dispatcherโs job more efficient and easier in terms of communication.
We also have internal applications for the Law Enforcement department. We have a single, strong, LEO department that has the jurisdiction of the entire statewide map. LEO members have the oppertunity to patrol and enforce multible areas, since the Civilians are not restricted on roleplay boundries. We also have both EUP and emergency vehicles that were specifically designed and custom made to fit within the boundaries of the roleplay.
Whenever we do open LEO applications, we open them internally within the community before opening to the public. Therefore, the most effective way to become an LEO in Silver Lining is to become active in a different department (CIV, Fire, Dispatch), and apply for internal transfer when LEO applications open.

Question: I am interested in Law Enforcement (LEO); however, applications are currently closed. When are they going to open again?
A: LEO Applications currently donโt have an ETA for opening to the public
Whenever we do open LEO applications, we open them internally within the community before opening to the public. Therefore, the most effective way to become an LEO in Silver Lining is to become active in a different department (CIV, Fire, Dispatch), and apply for internal transfer when LEO applications open.
If you are interested in ever joining the LEO team; besides waiting for applications to open internally, there is never a guarantee that you will ever be selected to join the LEO team - please ensure you are comfortable with proceeding with this application on whatever department you have chosen for your Silver Lining career.
Question: I have been banned from the application process or from the server. Is there any way that I can appeal my ban to an Administrator?
A: We are currently not accepting ban appeals.
Question: I do not meet the age requirement โ Can I still apply?
A: Application age requirements can be waived on a case-by-case basis (with the exception of internal LEO applications). Please keep in mind that there is ZERO guarantee that we will waive the age requirement for your application, however you are more than welcome to still apply.
Q: Why do I have to do an interview and how often are interviews held?
A: We require every member attend a voice interview with the community staff team before we allow access into the community.
Interviews are held depending on staff membersโ availability; however, they are held multiple times per week. There are no set times for interviews, and we do NOT schedule them.
Q: What are โPatrolsโ and how many players do you have?
A: Our server is not open 24/7 and we donโt allow members to log in to the server whenever they want. Regarding roleplay, we announce times that the server will be active in advance. We call these โpatrolsโ. The times the server is active and more information about the server can be found in the Rules & Regulations document.
Regarding player count, we average 30-50 players in the server at any given time during patrols.
Q: Is your server ESX or vMenu based?
A: We are a Hybrid ESX based server.
Hybrid ESX = Not fully ESX, not fully vMenu.
We have a lot of the ESX features such as inventory, shops, cash, etc. At the same time, our RP is not fully focused on having members grind for a long period of time to get items. We also like to reward members that want more direct role play with limited vMenu access.
Q: What is your recording/streaming policy?

2) Attend a voice interview with server staff.
Interviews are held depending on staff membersโ availability; however, they are held multiple times per week. There are no set times for interviews, and we do NOT schedule them.
3) Attend Classroom & In-Game trainings, for your department. More information will be provided about trainings after successful completion of the voice interview.
4) Welcome to Silver Lining Roleplay! You are free to attend any roleplay session that is scheduled.
